The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) provides
a person who is not baptized with a supportive group of
believers who accompany you on your own individual
journey of faith. We also welcome those who have not
received the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist.

FOOD PANTRY
We continue to ask for your support with donations for
our Food Pantry, it is always a great help! Please place
donations in the Barrel marked Food Pantry. Listed are
some suggestions: 1lb.and 2lb. bags of white rice and beans,
pasta, canned soups, chili, peanut butter and jam. We have a
need for men’s TUBE SOCKS AND USABLE SLEEPING
BAGS. We no longer are taking egg cartons. PLEASE
WE DO NOT TAKE CLOTHING, TOYS,
HOUSEHOLD ITEMS OR FURNITURE.

Fresh vegetables, fruit, staples and protein are distributed to
hundreds of local families by members of our parish, who are
enabled by the generosity of all of our parishioners. Being
part of an effort to help others can be a very rewarding experience. We hope that each and every member of Resurrection
Parish feels part of, and finds joy in, what we are accomplishing here in our parish.
As you know, providing food assistance in just one of the
things we are able to do with the help of your donations. We
also answer calls for assistance with a variety of emergency
needs. So, once again, we ask that you be as generous as posth

sible at the 5 Sunday Collection on July 31 .

Vegetales y frutas frescos, proteínas y alimentos de la
canastabásica son distribuidos a cientos de familias locales
por los miembros de nuestra parroquia, quienes lo hacen
posible a través de la generosidad de todos los feligreses. El
ser parte del esfuerzo para ayudar a otros puede ser una
experiencia muy satisfactoria. Esperamos que cada uno de los
miembros de la Parroquia de la Resurrección se sienta parte
de ello, y encuentre la alegría en lo que estamos logrando
aquí en nuestra parroquia. Como usted sabe, el dar asistencia
de comida es solo una de las tantas cosas que nosotros
podemos hacer con sus donaciones. También contestamos
llamadas de ayuda con una variedad de necesidades de
emergencia. Entonces, una vez mas, le pedimos que sea tan

GREGORIAN CHANT MEN’S CHOIR
Gregorian chant is the basis of much western music.
It is music that is meant to be the vehicle of the
psalms and the word of God and is directed
primarily toward worship. The Second Vatican
Council directed that it should have “pride of place”
in Catholic Liturgy. With this in mind, we are
happy to announce the formation of a Men’s Chant
Schola at St. Eugene. The Schola will learn the best
of Gregorian, Ambrosian, Mozarabic and Gallican
Chants in both Latin and English. We shall learn the
chants for our own prayer as well as to be ready for
occasional services at the Cathedral or in the
Diocese. Our instructor will be Fr. Jeffrey Keys. Fr.
Keyes studied Seminology and Chant under Fr.
Lawrence Heiman for 25 years at St. Joseph College
in Rennselaer, IN and was lead Cantor for the St.
Joseph Schola Speciale. The first meeting for
information and formation will be on Wednesday,
July 27th at 5:30pm in the Parish Liofe Center- Faith
Room- at St. Eugene’s, 2323 Montgomery Drive.,

BOLETO PARA ENTRAR. Elijah un asiento reservado
adentro, un asiento reservado en una mesa o asiento
