CAR REQUEST - The Church is looking for a small and economical used car to provide for a Missionary
Sister who is coming to serve at our Parish at the end of the year. If there is some generous person who can
donate a reliable vehicle to help with Sister’s ministry, please notify the Parish Office.

Transitional Kindergarten through Eighth Grade
Playground
Thank You - For
the past three weeks,
parishioners have been
able to park and the
school children have
been able to play on
the new parking lot/playground. We
called it the Transformation project and
that is what it has been. Something worn
and broken has been remade into something stronger that will
provide years of service to our community. The project had its
challenges since there are some areas with not even a one
percent slope for drainage, and the old asphalt had no base rock
at all. We have had a very good working relationship with
Granite Construction on this project and know they have
delivered an excellent quality parking lot/playground for us.
For everyone at our Church and School who have helped make
this possible, many, many thanks.
Por las últimas
3 semanas, los
feligreses han
podido
estacionarse y
los niños han
jugado en el nuevo estacionamiento/lugar de
recreo. Nosotros le llamamos el proyecto de
transformación y eso ha sido lo que ha sido.
Algo desgastado y quebrado se ha
reconstruido en algo más fuerte que nos dará
muchos años de servicio a nuestra
Comunidad. Este proyecto tuvo varios
desafíos, ya que algunas zonas con ni si
quiera el uno por ciento de pendiente para el
drenaje, y el viejo asfalto no tenia base de roca en absoluto. Hemos tenido una muy buena relación de trabajo
con Granite Construction con este proyecto y nos han entregado una excelente calidad de los espacios del
estacionamiento/lugar de recreo. Gracias a todas las personas de la Iglesia y Escuela que hicieron este proyecto
posible, muchas, muchas gracias.

THANK YOU - The new plaza area in front of
the Church Hall had the final permit signed-off
last week. We would like to thank the
contractors who provided their services on the
project: Matt Nohr and Kurt A. Hengelbrok,
Architect, K R Construction, Dorantes Concrete
and Masonry, Aliano Iron Inc, EZ Plumbing,
and Salinas Valley Landscape Company. A
special thanks to those who generously
contributed to the Diocesan Annual Ministries
Appeal. The funds rebated to the Parish, after
we met our Diocesan goal, are what made this
project possible. We are grateful to everyone
who has helped make this new, social gathering
place so beautiful!
El permiso final de la nueva área de la plaza en
frente del Salón de la Iglesia fue firmado la
semana pasada. Nos gustaría dar las gracias a los
contratistas que proporcionaron sus servicios en
