The curiosity of how is the psychomotor activity in Navarra´s schools has taken us to
research them. The aspects that we have taken into account are: the language use in the
sessions, the time, the type of sessions, the teacher training and more items that are
developed later. The results that we got have been used for carry out different sessions

that they should be put into practice in the future.
This academic work is based on the ideas of Emmi Pikler and Bernard Aucouturier about
the psychomotor development, like free movement and expression, where the
environment must to provide security and freedom. Moreover it has to be able to be
explore.

La curiosidad por saber cómo se llevan a cabo las sesiones, en que idioma, con qué
número de niños/as, nos ha llevado a ponernos en contacto con los centros de Navarra
para cumplimentar un cuestionario. Una vez obtenidos los resultados hemos llevado a
cabo el análisis de los mismos. De modo que las conclusiones obtenidas nos han servido
para guiar las bases de las sesiones planteadas.
Este trabajo se fundamenta en las ideas del desarrollo motor de Emmi Pikler y Bernard
Aucouturier, entre otros, y la idea del libre movimiento y expresión en un entorno que
aporte seguridad y libertad al mismo tiempo, dónde los niños/as puedan explorar el
entorno.
