• Results of the school-wide ballots for ELAC members were reviewed. It was
announced who were the official ELAC members as vote done by EL parents./

• Explanation on how to run the ELAC meeting with new changes/Expliacación de

• Nominations were made for 2014-15 officers/ Se propuso los 3 Candidatos oficiales
• Members voted on ELAC Officers (President, Vice-President & Secretary)/
Miembros votaron y escogieron los candidatos de la Junta de ELAC (Presidente,
Vice-presidente y Secretario).
• New President is Mrs. Alejandra Macias, Vice-president is Mr. Jose Lopez,
Secretary is Mrs. Fatima Garcia and co-Secretary is Maria Rosas/ Nueva Presidenta

Questions or comments / Preguntas ó comentarios
• Members asked when the Extended Instruction and Homework Program will start? It
was explained that Mrs.Neal is waiting to receive an answer on funding for
interventions from the D.O./ Miembros preguntaron cuando comenzara el programa
Instrucción extendida y Programa de Tareas? Fue explicado que la Sra. Neal está
esperando recibir respuesta del Distrito para la intervencion de fondos.

Members asked if they can do anything to collect the money, but it was explained
that it is around $15,000 because we need a credentialed teacher./ Miembros
preguntaron si ellos podian hacer algo para colectar dinero, pero se les explico que
es cerca de $15,000 dolares porque necesitamos maestros con credenciales.
• Mrs. Nash shared how the district identifies EL students. The school will send a
letter in January with the fall CELDT test results./Sra. Nash compartio como el
distrito identifica a los estudiantes EL. La escuela mandara una carta en Enero con
los resultados finales del examen CELDT.
