I.
El Sr. John Washkevich, Presidente de SELAC, llamó la reunión en orden a las 6:15 de la tarde. Se
hicieron introducciones.
II. El Sr. John Washkevich, Presidente de SELAC, dio la bienvenida a todos los presentes.
III. La agenda se revisó y se actualizó. La Sra. Arreola hizo una moción para aprobar el orden del día y la
Sra. Garcia la secundó. Todos estuvieron a favor y el orden del día fue aprobada sin ningún cambio.
IV. La directora interina dio una breve explicación de el proceso de elección de un nuevo director. Se
invitó a los padres a participar en una junta para dejar a saber las características ideales para un nuevo
director de la escuela. La junta es mañana jueves 17 de septiembre en el teatro de la escuela de las 6:00
a 7:00.
V. La maestra Martinez-Delgado dio un breve repaso del Manual de Información Para Estudiantes. La
maestra preguntó si todos los padres lo habían recibido y si habían entendido el contenido de este
manual. Los padres dijeron que lo habían recibido y entendido el contenido de este.
VI. Se pidió la cooperación de un nuevo (a) voluntaria para ser la/el secretario del grupo SELAC, así como
de un nuevo (a) alternante (vicepresidente) de SELAC. Las Sra. Hamaro y Arreola dijeron que darían
su respuesta de sí o no ser la nueva alternante.
VII. Se anunció también que se necesita un Representante de SELA para asistir a las juntas de School Site
Council (Concilio Escolar)
VIII. Se anunció las fechas de juntas DELAC
IX. Las reunión termino a las 7:10. La Sra. Hamaro hizo una moción para terminar la junta y la Sra.
Arreola la secundó. Todos estuvieron a favor y la reunión fue aprobada.

Called to order and attendance. The meeting began at 6:15 p.m. Introduction were given.
II. Mr. John Washkevich, SELAC president welcomed everyone.
III. The agenda was revised and necessary changes were made. Mrs.Arreol, gave the 1st motion to approved
the agenda and it was second by Mrs.Garcia. All present were in favour for the changes.
IV. The principal Interim gave a brief explanation for the election process of the new principal. She
invited parents to participate in a meeting given to parents to give their input/ideas of the
characteristics of a new principal. The meeting will be held Thursday, September 16 at 6:00 in the
theater.
V. Mrs. Martinez-Delgado gave a brief review of the Parent Hand Book for the SJUSD. The teacher asked
if parents had read the document and that if there were any questions. All parents had received the
document and understood the importance of it.
VI. It was announced that a new secretary and an alternate (Vicepresident) are needed for SELAC. Mrs.
Hamaro and Mrs. Arreola said that they would think about taking this roles in the committee and that
they will let the group know at the next meeting, November 18.
VII. It was also announced that a SELAC representative is needed to attend the School Site Council
meetings.
VIII. DELAC meetings dates were given to parents.
IX. The meeting ended at 7:10. Mrs. Hamaro made the motion to finish the meeting. It was seconded by
Mr. Arreola. All were in favour to meeting’s closure
