Título: PROCESS OF DEVELOPING EVIDENCE-BASED RECOMMENDATIONS AND THE EFFECTIVENESS IN COMMUNICATING THE RECOMMENDATIONS TO HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS IN COLOMBIA: A DIAGNOSTIC OF CURRENT SITUATION AND EVALUATION OF NEW STRATEGIES FOR IMPROVEMENT DESCRIPCIÓN Convocatoria No. 657-2014 Entidad: PONTIFICIA UNIVERSIDAD JAVERIANA - PUJ - SEDE BOGOTÁ Grupo de Investigación: COL0016784 - Departamento de Epidemiología Clínica Investigador Principal: María Ximena Rojas Reyes Resumen Ejecutivo: Currently in Colombia, a lot of resources are being invested in the development of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines (CPG) in priority conditions. In the last 5 years, over 30 guidelines have been developed, and for this year, the ministry of health has awarded some academic groups to develop a new set of CPG. The basis for the development of guidelines during the past years has been the national Methodological Guideline of the Minister of Health (MGG) . There is a need for a more powerful evaluation to identify gaps in the guideline development process in Colombia with the aim of design and promote actions for improvement and to obtain reliable and high quality products consistent with the goal proposed by the National government with this initiative.
