Today's society demands a change in the teaching-learning context which allows the
discussion of issues based on students' interests, bringing them closer to the real life with
the main aim of achieving a significant learning that allows them to be critical citizens.
This methodological approach, raises the learning of good habits related to the water as a

resource in kindergarden students. Several activities are established to allow students to be
closer to the reality of the compsumtion of this natural resource.
It is essential to know the importance that water has compared with other beverages, and
the benefits it brings to human health. We should not forget the care and the thriftness of
this resource for the environmental conservation in a closer context for the students but
with wider purposes.

La sociedad actual demanda un cambio en el ámbito educativo que permita tratar temas
basados en los intereses de los niños, acercándoles a la realidad con el principal objetivo de
alcanzar un aprendizaje significativo que les permita ser unos ciudadanos críticos.
La presente propuesta didáctica, plantea el aprendizaje de buenos hábitos en relación con

el recurso del agua en alumnos de Educación Infantil. Se plantean una serie de actividades
que permiten el acercamiento de los niños a la realidad del consumo de este bien natural.
Es esencial que conozcan la importancia de la ingesta de agua, en detrimento de otras
bebidas, y los beneficios que aporta a la salud del ser humano. Así como el cuidado y ahorro
de este recurso natural para la conservación del medioambiente en un contexto cercano a
los niños pero con fines más amplios.
