One of the main problems in our society is the gender violence. It does not appears
suddenly, because it is held in a patriarchal system where man is above woman. The fight

against this type of violence is present from historical times, but nowadays is stronger and
the majority of efforts come from the social area. It is interesting knowing, from a
professional perspective, what is good and what is wrong in this fight against the gender
violence. In this work we will explain this problematic in a more specific way trying to
show the perspectives of different professionals.

Uno de los problemas que están muy presentes en la sociedad, hoy en día, es la
violencia de género. Ésta no aparece de la nada, sino que está sustentada en un sistema
patriarcal donde se prioriza al hombre sobre la mujer. Pese a existir desde tiempos
históricos, actualmente la lucha contra la violencia es palpable en todos los ámbitos. Pero
sobretodo es desde el ámbito social donde más labor se hace para proteger a la mujer. Es
interesante conocer, desde la perspectiva profesional, qué se está haciendo bien y qué
está fallando a la hora de hacer frente a la violencia de género. En este trabajo se expone
de manera más detallada esta problemática, su intervención y la perspectiva de algunas
profesionales.
