You want to post the settlement to the previous period, even though you used transaction MMRV to close the previous period. The system issues error message CK 122 "Invalid posting period (please check your entry)". Other Terms MARV-XRUEM, prior period posting, error CK 122 Reason and Prerequisites When you close the previous period using transaction MMRV, this generally prevents the settlement of production orders posted to a prior period. See also Note 1134322. However, you may want to use transaction MMRV to lock the previous period for goods movements and other transactions (for example, invoices), but still allow order settlements to the previous period. This note provides a function which enables you to post order settlements to the previous period, even though the previous period was already closed using transaction MMRV. Solution Implement the program corrections attached to this note if they are not already available in your system. To activate this new function, use transaction SM30 to maintain the following entry in the table CKMLMVADMIN: KKEY KDATA KO88_XRUEM X You can then post order settlements to the previous period, even if the previous period was already closed using transaction MMRV.
