Identify and prevent risks in a normal classroom. The main physical causes are accidents such as slips, trips and falls and manual handling. But we also should consider psychological harm caused because of bullying, stress, harassment and assault. For the physical causes the more obvious preventive measurement: • • • • • Good housekeeping. Remind everyone to keep their area clear of clutter and obstacles. Adequate lighting Do not run at the stairs Periodically revision of cords and cables Do not lift heavy things without help For the psychological ones: • • Keep good relationships Stay alert for signal of violence
