Our Offshore Technical Support department within EON UK in Coventry is looking for a Foundations Engineer on a
permanent basis.
Responsibilities
Lay the foundations for a sustainable future.
Permanent
Salary: Competitive salary dependant on experience + benefits
Location: Coventry
E.ON is a global provider of specialised energy solutions. We work hard to make the best deals possible and provide
energy solutions for our customers. Right now, we’re looking for an experienced engineer to join our Offshore
Technical Support department. Here, your core responsibility will be reviewing and assessing the performance of our
existing wind turbine foundation structures and supporting with the implementation of our fleet-wide asset integrity
strategy. You’ll need to analyse relevant structural monitoring data on a regular basis.
Another key part of the role will be to support the development of new foundation structures for offshore wind
turbines. You’ll also support the development of cost-effective solutions for larger, deep-water turbines. Crucially,

longer term, you’ll look for ways to improve the cost performance of our wind farms, often undertaking research and
reviewing new developments in technology. It’s essential that for all improvements, you take into account the

Finally, you’ll also work closely with internal stakeholders and external design houses and fabricators to standardise
our overall approach to technical pre-qualification and specification.
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented engineer with experience of offshore wind turbines to take the next step
