Dear Sisters and Brothers,
I hope your Easter celebrations
brought much joy and peace to your
families! It was wonderful to share the
holy days of the Triduum with you
leading up to celebration of Easter
Sunday. Our parish community came
together in prayer and song as we celebrated in the languages of our parish
cultures, English and Spanish.
As we sing our Alleluia we are called to ever deeper
commitment to walk in the ways of the Lord. Easter
calls us to discipleship, to proclaim the Gospel. We are
sent into the world just as were the apostles. The
apostles were changed by their encounter with the Risen
Jesus, we too are to be changed by our prayer and sharing in the Easter Season. During the next weeks, the
Gospels will proclaim the many appearances of the Risen
Lord to his followers. Jesus clearly said in one of those
Scriptures: “Go into the whole world and proclaim the
Gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15) Are you ready
to do the same?
The Gospel for this weekend also highlights the
problem of doubt. We all deal with this at different
points in our life. When trouble or suffering are part of
our life, we may doubt that God is present in the midst of
it all. We seek answers to our prayers but doubt that
God hears our prayers. Among the lessons of the Easter
Gospels is the abiding presence of the Lord. Jesus
appears in surprising and wonderful ways to those He
loved on earth. Prepare to be surprised by the Lord.
Let us pray for one another especially for the persons
who received the sacraments on Holy Saturday, for those
who will be Confirmed on May 13th in our parish, for all
the children preparing for First Communion and for couples preparing for the sacrament of Marriage.

It's a dare to be grateful! Women ages 20 to 32 are invited to the lifechanging video study of "One Thousand Gifts," based on the New York
Times bestseller by Ann Voskamp. Hosted each month in De Pere by
Sister Laura Zelten, the group will be guided by the author's videos in
discovering God's blessings in daily life. The next two sessions will be
April 17 and May 15. This event is free but space is limited. Learn more

Programa Discípulos de Cristo
Discípulos de Cristo es un programa diocesano de
formación para ministerio dentro de la Iglesia. Es
para hombres y mujeres que desean servir a la Iglesia
de la Diócesis de Green Bay. Consiste en cursos de
6 semanas a lo largo de tres años de septiembre a
marzo. Los cursos cubren temas como Escritura del
Antiguo y Nuevo Testamento, Moralidad, Liturgia,
Sacramentos, Oración y Espiritualidad. Si desea más
información sobre este programa, puede consultar
con la Hna. Patricia en la Oficina Parroquial o con
uno de las varias personas de nuestra parroquia que
se han graduado del programa. (Hna. Patricia puede
ponerse en contacto con uno de ellos.) Es una oportunidad maravillosa para aprender más de nuestra fe
y prepararse para ser más activo en la Parroquia.
Noticias de la Colecta del Obispo 2015
A partir del 31 de marzo, familias de la Parroquia
de San Felipe habrán contribuido $23,945. Esto es
el 80.3% de la meta de $29,827 de nuestra
parroquia. Al no llegar a nuestra meta, la parroquia
tendrá que pagar la diferencia. Muchos programas
excelentes beneficiarán por la Colecta del Obispo.

a traer fin al abuso sexual infantil. Abre sus corazones
a TU llamado para ser los “oídos, ojos y voces de los
niños y jóvenes” de todas partes. Dales la visión y
gracia necesaria para cumplir los compromisos especiales que cada uno de ellos ha hecho para hacer sus
hogares, iglesias, escuelas, comunidades y el mundo
un lugar más seguro para los Hijos de Dios. Amen.

Mensaje de Nuestra Líder Pastoral
Queridos hermanas y hermanos,
¡Espero que sus celebraciones de
Pascua hayan traído mucha alegría y
paz a sus familias! Fue maravilloso
compartir los días sagrados del Triduo
con ustedes previos a la celebración
del Domingo de Pascua. Nuestra
comunidad parroquial se unió en oración y canto
mientras celebramos en los idiomas de las culturas
en nuestra parroquia, español e inglés.
Cuando cantamos el Aleluya estamos llamados a
un compromiso cada vez más profundo de caminar
en los caminos del Señor. La Pascua nos llama al
discipulado, para proclamar el Evangelio. Somos
enviados al mundo tal como los apóstoles quienes
cambiaron en su encuentro con Jesús resucitado.
Nosotros también seremos cambiados por medio de
nuestra oración y compartir durante la Pascua.
Durante las próximas semanas, los Evangelios
proclamarán las muchas apariciones del Señor
resucitado a sus seguidores. Jesús dijo claramente
en una de las escrituras: "Ir por todo el mundo y
prediquen el Evangelio a toda criatura." (Mc 16:15)
¿Están listos para hacer lo mismo?
El Evangelio de este fin de semana también se
enfoca en el problema de la duda. Todos lidiamos
con esto en diferentes momentos en nuestra vida.
Cuando los problemas o el sufrimiento son parte de
nuestra vida, podemos dudar de que Dios está
presente en medio de todo. Buscamos respuestas a
nuestras oraciones pero dudamos que Dios escucha
nuestras oraciones. Entre las lecciones de los
Evangelios de la Semana Santa está la presencia
constante del Señor. Jesús aparece de manera
sorprendente y maravillosa para aquellos que amó
en la tierra. Prepárense para ser sorprendidos por el
Señor.
Oremos el uno por el otro especialmente para las
personas que recibieron los sacramentos el Sábado
Santo, para aquellos que se confirmarán el 13 de
mayo en nuestra parroquia, para todos los niños que
se están preparando para la Primera Comunión y
para las parejas en preparación del Sacramento del
Matrimonio.

TRES TIPOS DE CRISTIANOS
Durante una Misa el Papa Francisco explicó que
existen tres tipos de cristianos. Aquellos que están
llenos de luz y sirven a Dios, aquellos que son llamados “cristianos oscuros” que viven en el pecado
y el tercer son “cristianos gris.” Los cristianos gris
son aquellos que están en la iglesia un día y otro
día no vienen. Siempre están en el área gris. Son
tibios sobre el catolicismo. El Papa animó a los
católicos a reflexionar sobre qué tipo de cristiano
fueron y agregó que la clave para identificar el tipo
está en su manera de hablar. Los cristianos oscuros “hablan generalmente de una manera hipócrita,
vacía y obscena. Todos deberíamos ser cristianos
“llenos de luz” dispuestos a servir a Dios.

Celebraciones serán los sábados, generalmente a la 1:30 pm.
Si aun no se registran en la oficina parroquial, haganlo antes
del 15 de abril, para cumplir con la preparación necesaria.
INSCRIPCIÓN PARA
EDUCACIÓN RELIGIOSA 2015-16
Es tiempo de inscribir a su hijo/a en el programa de Educación Religiosa 2015-1 (catequesis,
preparación para 1ra Comunión), tome una
copia de la inscripción que está disponible en la
entrada de la iglesia. Favor de rellenarla y
traerla junto con el certificado bautismal del niño/a. El niño/a debe tener 7 años de edad
cumplidos y saber leer.
PASILLOS LIBRES DE OBSTRUCCIONES
Atentamente les pedimos que NO coloquen sillas de
ruedas o portabebés para automóviles en los pasillos
de la iglesia. Esto no solo es una cortesía para los
demás feligreses que buscan tener acceso a un lugar
en las bancas, sino también en cumplimiento al código
de seguridad del Departamento de Bomberos. Tenemos un lugar asignado para personas en sillas de ruedas junto a la primera banca al frente. Padres pueden
colocar sus portabebés en su misma banca.

Los Bautizos se realizan cada 2do y 3er
sábado del mes. Para celebrar un Bautizo es

comprometidas como miembros de Comités, ministros en la Misa, Catequistas, voluntarios ayudando
