Dear Sisters and Brothers in the
Risen Lord,
Alleluia! Christ is Risen! Today,
as we celebrate the most significant
day of the Church Year, we celebrate the love, joy, and peace of the
Risen Lord. Easter gives us hope
and gives us confidence that there
is life eternal. Mary Magdalene, Simon Peter, and
the beloved disciple were witnesses to the resurrection of Jesus. We also witness our belief in the
resurrection through our faith. During the three
days preceding this celebration, we walked from the
darkness of the suffering and death of Jesus to the
light of resurrection.
It is important to convey the true meaning of
Easter to our children and grandchildren. In our
secular society, the Easter Bunny, eggs and candy
blur the true meaning of this day. While we enjoy
all of the fun that comes with these gifts take time to
share that the real Gift is the Risen Lord.
We rejoice with the four persons who received the
Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist
on Holy Saturday. We welcome you to participation with us in our faith community of St. Philip the
Apostle.

For the next 50 days, we will celebrate the Easter
Season. Our Paschal Candle will be lighted at all of
the Masses to remind us that Jesus is the Light of
the World. Jesus is the Light of our lives. Jesus
instills in our hearts love for others, joy in the gifts
and beauty of each day, gratitude for the smallest
kindness, and peace of mind and heart.
As true disciples and witnesses of Jesus, let us live
in the light of the Lord. Let us bring the peace, love
and joy of the Easter Season to those around us.

Stewardship Reflection:

On this day we thank God for His Son, Jesus, who
died and rose for us. We celebrate and sing
“Alleluia!” Let’s try to keep the joy of this Easter
season in our hearts throughout the year.
Pray daily and listen for God’s response on how
we should use our gifts to fulfill His plan.

Programa Discípulos de Cristo
Discípulos de Cristo es un programa diocesano de
formación para ministerio dentro de la Iglesia. Es
para hombres y mujeres que desean servir a la Iglesia
de la Diócesis de Green Bay. Consiste en cursos de
6 semanas a lo largo de tres años de septiembre a
marzo. Los cursos cubren temas como Escritura del
Antiguo y Nuevo Testamento, Moralidad, Liturgia,
Sacramentos, Oración y Espiritualidad. Si desea más
información sobre este programa, puede consultar
con la Hna. Patricia en la Oficina Parroquial o con
uno de las varias personas de nuestra parroquia que
se han graduado del programa. (Hna. Patricia puede
ponerse en contacto con uno de ellos.) Es una oportunidad maravillosa para aprender más de nuestra fe
y prepararse para ser más activo en la Parroquia.
Noticias de la Colecta del Obispo 2015
A partir del 25 de marzo del 2015, 173 familias de
la Parroquia de San Felipe habrán contribuido o
prometido $23,370. Esto es el 78.3% de la meta
de $29,827 de nuestra parroquia. Hay más
tarjetas de respuesta disponibles en la parte
posterior de la iglesia. ¡Agradecemos su apoyo
para que su parroquia alcance su meta (sin
necesidad de que utilicemos los fondos de la
parroquia para pagar la diferencia) y para que los
muchos programas excelentes beneficiados por la
Colecta del Obispo puedan prosperar y florecer!

Mensaje de Nuestra Líder Pastoral
Queridos hermanas y hermanos en el
Señor resucitado,
¡ Aleluya! ¡Cristo ha resucitado!
Hoy, al celebrar el día más importante
del año litúrgico, regocijamos del
amor, gozo y la paz del Señor resucitado. La Pascua nos da la esperanza y confianza de
que hay una vida eterna. María Magdalena, Simón
Peter y el discípulo amado fueron testigos de la
resurrección de Jesús. También nosotros damos testimonio a nuestra creencia en la resurrección a través de nuestra fe. Durante los tres días anteriores a
esta celebración, caminamos desde la oscuridad del
sufrimiento y muerte de Jesús a la luz de la resurrección.
Es importante transmitir el verdadero significado
de la Pascua a nuestros hijos y nietos. En nuestra
sociedad secular, la coneja de Pascua, los huevos y
dulces opacan el verdadero significado de este día.
Mientras disfrutamos de toda la diversión que viene
con estos dones tomemos tiempo de compartir el
verdadero regalo que es el Señor resucitado.
Nos regocijamos con las cuatro personas que recibieron los Sacramentos de Bautismo, Confirmación
y Eucaristía el Sábado de Gloria. Los invitamos a
participar con nosotros en nuestra comunidad de fe
de San Felipe el Apóstol. ¡Felicitaciones a Malakai
Wishart, Christine Wishart, Misael Bautista y Jeffrey Morris!
Durante los próximos 50 días, celebraremos el
tiempo de la Pascua. Se encenderá el Cirio Pascual
en todas las Misas para recordarnos que Jesús es la
Luz del Mundo. Jesús es la Luz de nuestras vidas.
Jesús infunde en nuestros corazones el amor para

VENTA ANUAL DE RUMAGE
JUNIO 19-21
Conserve artículos que pueda donar para la
venta de rumage. Ésta es patrocinada por la
Sociedad del Altar de San Felipe. Considere
donar cuadros y artículos para decoración, joyería, electrodomésticos pequeños, muebles,
ropa, libros, etc. Les avisaremos cuando sea
tiempo para entregar sus donaciones.
INSCRIPCIÓN PARA
EDUCACIÓN RELIGIOSA 2015-16
Si usted está interesado/a en inscribir a su
hijo/a en el programa de Educación Religiosa
2015-16 (catequesis, preparación para 1ra
Comunión), tome una copia de la inscripción
que está disponible en la entrada de la iglesia.
Favor de rellenarla y traerla junto con el certificado bautismal del niño/a. El niño/a debe
tener 7 años de edad cumplidos y saber leer.
PASILLOS LIBRES DE OBSTRUCCIONES
Atentamente les pedimos que NO coloquen sillas de
ruedas o portabebés para automóviles en los pasillos
de la iglesia. Esto no solo es una cortesía para los
demás feligreses que buscan tener acceso a un lugar
en las bancas, sino también en cumplimiento al código de seguridad del Departamento de Bomberos.
Tenemos un lugar asignado para personas en sillas
de ruedas junto a la primera banca al frente. Padres
pueden colocar sus portabebés en su misma banca.

BAUTIZOS
Los Bautizos se realizan cada 2do y 3er sábado del
mes. Para celebrar un Bautizo es necesario acercarse a
la Oficina Parroquial con el certificado de nacimiento del
niño. Si los padres no están registrados en la Parroquia
es necesario hacerlo.
Oración para el Año de la Vida Consagrada
Oh Dios, Tú a través de los tiempos has llamado a
mujeres y hombres a fin de que vivan la caridad perfecta por medio de los consejos evangélicos de la pobreza, la castidad y la obediencia. Durante este Año
de la Vida Consagrada Te damos gracias por estos
valientes testigos de la fe, que son también modelos
de inspiración. Con su empeño por lograr la santidad
ellos nos enseñan a ofrecerte nuestra vida de una manera más perfecta. Te pedimos que continúes enriqueciendo a tu Iglesia con hijos e hijas que, habiendo
encontrado la perla de gran valor, atesoran el Reino
de los Cielos por encima de todas las cosas. Por
nuestro Señor Jesucristo, Tu Hijo, que vive y reina
contigo en la unidad del Espíritu Santo y es Dios por
los siglos de los siglos, Amén.
