“BUILDING FUND‖ or a check with ―BUILDING
FUND‖ annotated, may be put in the collection
basket at any Mass. Loose cash or undersigned
checks will go only to the BUILDING FUND in
special second collections (3rd Sunday), otherwise loose cash and undesignated checks will
go to the general parish account. Please pray

The Diocese
regrets
to
inform you of
the death of
Rev. Felix McHale, OSCO. He passed away on
March 12, 2010 at CHRISTUS Saint Joseph Villa.
Brother Felix was a pioneer with the original group
of Trappists who came to Utah in 1947. He was
one who worked hard to build sound relationships in
the Huntsville area with neighboring farmers and
who gave his life to prayer and penance for the
people of Utah. The Mass of Christian Burial was
celebrated on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the Abbey of the Holy Trinity in Huntsville. Internment in
the monastery cemetery followed the ceremony.
We pray that he rest in peace.
“Sunday Celebrations in the Absence of a Priest,
Why does the deacon or the lay person not sit in
the priest’s chair? The empty chair is a symbolic
reminder that the community is awaiting the presence of a priest. SCAP should not be considered a
celebration without a priest; rather, it should be
viewed as a celebration “in the absence of” or “in
expectation of a priest.”

donations: jeans, sweatpants and sweatshirts, light
jackets, new socks, clothing racks and shelving units.
