Directions for Spanish Phrase Cards
1. Print out cards and laminate.
2. Print out control card and laminate.
3. Set out Spanish Phrase Set work. Place heading cards at the
top of the workspace. Place the English phrase cards
to the right of the workspace (or child's dominant side).
Place the Spanish phrase cards directly under the English Cards
4. Pick up an English phrase card and place the card under
the correct heading.
5. Find the matching Spanish phrase card and place it
directly to the right under the Español heading card
6. Repeat until all cards are matched.
8. As soon as child is successful, leave them to finish the work.
9. Child checks answers with control card.
(for easier checking, you can record the correct answer
on the back of the Español cards for child to flip to check)
(Show child how to mix up cards before putting the work
back in its place - this ensures that the next time the work is
used, the cards are not already in the correct order)
