Expositor: George Hodgson, Director Ejecutivo de STEP
George Hodgson, es Director Ejecutivo Adjunto de STEP mundial. Antes de incorporarse
a STEP, ocupó el cargo de Director de Políticas en la Asociación de British Insures, el
principal organismo de seguro comercial de la industria en el Reino Unido y también ha
colaborado en el comité de la Comisión de Hacienda de la “House of Commons” del Reino
Unido. Antes de dedicarse a la política el Sr. Hodgson tuvo una carrera en la banca de
inversión que se extendió por más de 20 años como uno de los economistas y estrategas
de inversión más importantes del país. El Sr. Hodgson es economista por la Universidad
de Durham y la Universidad de Stirling y ha sido el autor de numerosos artículos e
informes de investigación sobre los fideicomisos, impuestos y cuestiones de inversión.
Precio: $250 pesos a cubrir directamente en el evento.

Speakers: George Hodgson, Deputy Chief Executive of STEP
George Hodgson is Deputy Chief Executive at STEP worldwide. Prior to joining
STEP he held a senior policy position at the Association of British Insurers, the
main insurance industry trade body in the UK and has also served on the staff
of the Treasury Committee of the UK House of Commons. Prior to moving to
public policy work Mr. Hodgson had a career in investment banking that
spanned over 20 years as one of the top rated economists and investment
strategists. He holds economics degrees from the University of Durham and
the University of Stirling and has been the author of many articles and
research reports on trusts, taxation and investment issues.
