Dear Parents and Guardians,
Last week our Washington students had the chance to see world traveler and
photographer Mike Herold as part of a school-wide assembly that tied in to
our Multicultural Fair. We hope your children enjoyed this presentation and
learned a lot about the world around them. This assembly was presented by
the PTA and was made possible by your generous support of us and our
events during the past school year.
As this school year comes to a close, we want to thank all of our parents and
staff for the great contributions you made to the PTA this year. It was a busy
year with a very ambitious calendar. None of this would have been possible
without the many volunteers that went above and beyond to participate in
our school community and enrich the educational experiences of our
children. It is an honor to work with a staff and a group of parents who care
about each and every child in this school. All of you find a window in your
busy schedules to bring something extra to our children.

keep you updated about upcoming events. Our email will also be checked all

suggestions or questions.
We would like to say a special thank you to the fourth grade parents who are
moving on to Woodhull. We will miss you and your enthusiasm.

Estimados padres:
La semana pasada los estudiantes de Washington tuvieron la oportunidad de ver
al fotógrafo y viajero mundial Mike Herold. Esta asamblea tomo parte en la
escuela y culmino con la Feria Multicultural. Esperamos que los niños hayan
disfrutado de la presentación y que hayan aprendido mucho sobre el mundo que
los rodea. Este evento fue presentado por el PTA y fue posible gracias a su
generosa aportación a nuestros eventos durante el año escolar pasado.
Ahora que este año escolar llega a su fin, queremos agradecer a todos los padres
y al personal por su aportación al PTA. Fue un año de mucho trabajo con un
calendario lleno de eventos y actividades. Nada de esto habría sido posible sin los
muchos voluntarios que participaron y nos ayudaron en nuestros eventos. Su
ayuda favorece a la comunidad escolar y enriquece las experiencias educativas de
nuestros hijos. Es un honor trabajar con un equipo y un grupo de padres que se
preocupan por todos los niños de esta escuela.
