Update on the sale of our rectory
Fr. Terry’s recent fall and following surgeries brought
to the Finance Council’s attention that finding a one story
or master on the main rectory would be in the parish’s
best interest. Therefore, the current rectory will go on the
market soon. We are trying to find a rectory that is more
accommodating for Fr. Terry and the pastors to come.
We anticipate there will be no negative financial impact.
Thank you for supporting our Parish!

Upcoming Gathering of Faith-Filled Counselors
Pope Francis has focused our attention on serving Marriages and Families in the midst of today’s challenges. In response, pastors
are looking for quality counselors with both professional expertise and a Christian worldview. My hope as the new Marriage and Family
Life Director is to help pastors feel confident in referring struggling parishioners to great counselors for the expertise they need, while
allowing Christian counselors to network with each other.
The Office of Marriage and Family life is sponsoring a gathering in Portland on the evening of November 16, with a two-fold
purpose in mind:
A) Form an Association to develop a simple process of “vetting” potential counselors which would be
added to a referral list for pastors.
B) To Connect Western Oregon Counselors with one another.

Social Justice Ministry
Without repeating the entire theology of
creation, we can ask what the great biblical
narratives say about the relationship of human
being with the world.
Sin repetir aquí la entera teología de la creación,
nos preguntamos qué nos dicen los grandes
relatos bíblicos acerca de la relación del ser
humano con el mundo.

Where All Are Welcomed and Loved With Mercy - Day 238
According to 2012 figures most of the children live in sub-Saharan Africa and were infected by their HIV-positive mothers during
pregnancy, childbirth or breastfeeding. Over 700 children become newly infected with HIV each day. Pregnant women living with HIV
who receive the most effective drug regimens (as recommended by World Health Organization) prevent mother-to-child transmission of
the virus.
