April 3  Second Sunday of Easter  John 20:19-31 (Year C)
Today’s Gospel tells of the Risen Lord’s appearance to the disciples. Jesus’ disciples were
confused and afraid as they gathered together. Jesus came to the place where they were and
said, “Peace be with you” and showed them his hands and side. Thomas, who was not there that
day, did not believe the others until Jesus appeared again and showed him his hands and side.
How do you think the disciples felt when they saw Jesus? How would you feel if Jesus appeared to
you today? Do you sometimes have difficulty believing something that you have not seen for
yourself? Give an example.
April 10  Third Sunday of Easter  John 21:1-19 (Year C)
In today’s Gospel, several disciples find Jesus on the shore of the Sea of Tiberias after a night of
trying to catch fish. Jesus fixes breakfast for his friends and then talks with Peter. Jesus asks him
three times “Do you love me?” and three times Peter answers yes. Peter’s conviction to Jesus
became stronger with each “yes”.
How do you think Peter felt when Jesus kept asking him the same question? Jesus continues to
ask each of us the same question. How can we today, answer yes to Jesus with the same
conviction that Peter had that day?
April 17  Fourth Sunday of Easter  John 10:27-30 (Year C)
Today we hear Jesus speak of himself as a shepherd and his followers as the sheep of his flock.
We hear His voice, we follow Him and we feel safe in His hand. God is with us in the good times
and in the bad times. We are never alone.
Have you ever felt alone? Knowing that Jesus promises to never leave us, how does that make you
feel? Sometimes it is hard to hear God’s voice. How do we recognize and listen to God’s voice?
April 24  Fifth Sunday of Easter  John 13:31-33A, 34-35 (Year C)
In this Gospel we hear how Jesus wants us to love. Jesus says, “I give you a new
commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one
another. By this, everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
How did Jesus show his love for us? Why is it hard, sometimes, for us to love others? When is it the
hardest for you to follow this commandment? When we don’t follow this commandment what
happens?

3 de Abril  Segundo Domingo de Pascua  Juan 20:19-31 (Año C)
El evangelio de hoy nos habla de la aparición del Resucitado a los discípulos. Los discípulos de
Jesús estaban confundidos y con miedo al reunirse. Jesús llegó al lugar donde estaban y dijo: "La
paz esté con vosotros" y les mostró las manos y el costado. Thomas, quien no estuvo allí ese día,
no les creyó a los demás cuando le dijeron que Jesús se avía aparecido. Jesus se apareció otra
vez y le mostró las manos y el costado para que creyera.
¿Cómo crees que los discípulos se sintieron cuando vieron a Jesús? ¿Cómo te sentirías si Jesús
se le apareciera hoy? ¿A veces se te hace difícil creer en algo que no has visto por ti mismo? Di un
ejemplo.
10 de Abril  Tercer Domingo de Pascua  Juan 21: 1-19 (Año C)
En el evangelio de hoy, varios discípulos encuentren a Jesús a la orilla del mar llamado
Tiberíades después de una noche de tratar de pescar. Jesús hace desayuno para sus amigos y
luego habla con Pedro. Jesús le pregunta tres veces: "¿Me amas?" Y tres veces Pedro responde
que sí. La convicción de Pedro a Jesús se hizo más fuerte con cada "sí".
¿Cómo crees que Pedro se sintió cuando Jesús le preguntaba la misma pregunta? Jesús nos sigue
preguntando a cada uno de nosotros la misma pregunta. ¿Cómo podemos, responder sí a Jesús
con la misma convicción que Pedro tenía ese día?
17 de Abril  Cuarto Domingo de Pascua  Juan 10:27-30 (Año C)
Hoy escuchamos a Jesús hablar de sí mismo como pastor y sus seguidores como ovejas de su
rebaño. Oímos su voz, lo seguimos, y nos sentimos seguros en Sus manos. Dios está con
nosotros en los buenos y malos momentos. Nunca estamos solos.
¿Te has sentido solo? ¿Sabiendo que Jesús promete nunca dejarnos, cómo te hace sentir eso? A
veces es difícil oír la voz de Dios. ¿Cómo podemos reconocer y escuchar la voz de Dios?
24 de Abril  Quinto Domingo de Pascua  Juan 13:31-33A, 34-35 (Año C)
En este Evangelio escuchamos que Jesús quiere que amemos. Jesús dice: "Les doy un nuevo
mandamiento: ámense unos a otros. Así como yo los he amado, también ustedes deben amarse
unos a otros. Con esto, todos conocerán que son mis discípulos, si tienen amor el uno al otro".
¿Cómo mostró Jesús su amor por nosotros? ¿Por qué es difícil, a veces, amar a los demás? ¿En
que momentos se te hace mas difícil seguir este mandamiento? ¿Qué pasa cuando no seguimos
este mandamiento?
