Semana 12‐16 de septiembre Español: Letras de la semana: la letra “Mm”y las vocales Aa, Ee, Ii, Oo, Uu Identificar palabras y sonidos iniciales con la letra Mm y las vocales. Reconocer las letras mayúsculas y las minúsculas. Palabras de uso frecuente: la, yo, veo, mami, amo Gramática: Sustantivos: personas, animales, lugares y cosas. Lectura: Identificamos las partes del libro: portada, contraportada, lomo, título, autor e ilustrador. Escritura: Escribimos oraciones utilizando las palabras de uso frecuente. Rimas: Identificar palabras que riman oralmente. Ejemplo: casa‐pasa, campana‐
ventana, botella‐estrella. ELA Letter work: We are identifying upper and lower case letters. We are identifying the difference between vowels, consonants and syllables. We are learning the AP word family. We will be practicing reading and writing these words in class. Nap, map, sap, rap, cap, gap, lap, tap, zap Sight words: an, at, can, the We are learning about nouns. In reading we are practicing inferring and making connections to stories being read aloud. After the story we are retelling the beginning, middle and end. We are also identifying the parts of a book including title, front cover, back cover, spine. We are learning the difference between the author and illustrator. Ciencias/Science Los estudiantes trabajarán en esta unidad durante tres semanas/The students will be tudying this unit for three weeks. Celebramos la "Semana de la Libertad" Celebrate Freedom Week. Students will be introduced to the principles of American beliefs and symbols of our freedom. We are representing numbers 6‐10 using, tally marks, tens frames, number words, digits, coins, pictures, number lines and number sentences.
