Dear parents,
On Monday, September 22, the play Sobre el Profundo Mar
Azul, written by Daisaku Ikeda, will be presented to our
students from pre-school to sixth grade as part of the
activities preceding our Values Week.

he program Leader in Me is an introduc on to
personal leadership. All students have the
capacity to lead their own lives and affect other's
in a posi ve manner. The Leader in Me will be introducing
"The Leadership Folder" that will provide ac vi es that
will help the students develop their character, as well as
learn prac cal life skills, including the keeping of important
informa on such as their tracking sheet, academic
progress, book codes and assignments sheet.
Furthermore, your child will also have the opportunity to
decorate their Leadership Folder with his/her name, level
and things that iden fy him/her. We expect the return of
the folder by Thursday 18, 2014. Es mados Padres de Familia, H
emos iniciado el programa El líder en mí como
introducción al liderazgo personal en nuestro
colegio. Todos los alumnos enen la capacidad
para liderar su propia vida e influenciar a aquellos que los
rodean haciendo elecciones posi vas. Sus hijos tendrán un
“Folder de Liderazgo” en donde irán registrando datos
importantes de este proceso, como sus registros de notas
(que ellos llenarán), “Friday tracking sheets” (en primaria),
sus hojas con código de libros, y sus cuadros de tareas
semanales, entre otros.
El día de hoy estaremos enviando el folder para que cada
alumno lo personalice de forma crea va incluyendo su
nombre, nivel y detalles con los que se iden fica.
Esperamos el mismo para el jueves 18 de sep embre. The cost is of $7.00 per students which will be collected by
each homeroom teacher on Monday, September 15. We are
certain our students will not only enjoy the performance but
will also learn a valuable lesson from the play's theme.

Estimados padres,
El lunes 22 de septiembre, se presentará la obra de teatro
Sobre el Profundo Mar Azul, escrita por Daisuki Ikeda, a
nuestros estudiantes de preescolar a sexto grado como
parte de las actividades que preceden a la Semana de
Valores.
El costo de la función es de $7.00 por estudiante, el cual
será recogido por los profesores consejeros el lunes 15 de
septiembre. Estamos seguros que nuestros estudiantes
disfrutaran la función y aprenderán una importante lección
de la moraleja de la historia.
