RCS Students Place in Top 10 in State Art & Essay Contest
Next Week At The View
Madeline Chen, Roberto Franqui,
& Natalie Roverse are the IB
communicator 6th grade students
who placed in the top 10 for this
contest sponsored by the Atlantic
Institute and Istanbul Cultural
Center. Students created artwork
and/or essays under the theme:
“Kindness Without Borders: Open Eyes, Open Hearts in Our
Global Village” which aligned with the 6th grade MYP Hunger and
Poverty Unit. They will be honored at a ceremony at Clayton State
University on Feb. 21 when they will find out what order they placed
(1st - 10th).

There will be drawings for Raider gear

Los Estudiantes de RCS entre los Primeros 10 Lugares en el Concurso
de Arte y Ensayo del Estado
Madeline Chen, Roberto Franqui,
y Natalie Roverse son los
comunicadores IB de 6 grado
quienes clasificaron entre los 10
primeros estudiantes en el
concurso patrocinado por el
Instituto Atlantic y el Centro Cultural
Istanbul. Los estudiantes crearon trabajo artístico y/o ensayos bajo el
tema: “Amabilidad Sin Límites: Ojos Abiertos, Corazones Abiertos
en nuestra Villa Global” el cual está alineado con la unidad
Hambruna y Pobreza MYP de 6 grado. Ellos recibirán honores en
ceremonia en Clayton State University el 21 de Febrero y allí serán
informados del lugar que ocuparon (1 – 10).
Felicitaciones Estudiantes! Gracias Ms. Panos por proveer esta
oportunidad y por animar a los estudiantes a participar!
