ON JUNE 7TH, THE POLITICAL PARTIES IN CALIFORNIA WILL CHOOSE THEIR
CANDIDATE FOR
PRESIDENT IN THE PRIMARY ELECTION
If you are registered to vote but didn’t choose a political party (No Party Preference) then the ballot you receive will not have the
option to choose a Presidential candidate unless you provide the Registrar’s office with some additional information.
Three parties have decided to let those who are registered without a party to participate in selecting their candidate.

Democratic
• American Independent
• Libertarian
If you are a No Party Preference voter and want to vote for one of the candidates in any of these parties you have two options If you vote by mail, request a ballot by returning the pink postcard that was mailed to you. If you did not receive a postcard, or
have misplaced it, please contact the Registrar’s office at (209) 385-7541 or [email protected].
 If you wish to vote at the polls, you can request that party’s ballot when you check in.
The other parties that are choosing their candidate on June 7th are;
• Republican
• Green
• Peace and Freedom
They have decided that ONLY PARTY MEMBERS may select their candidate. If you want to participate in that selection, you
must re-register to vote as a member of that party.

EL 7 DE JUNIO, LOS PARTIDOS POLÍTICOS DE CALIFORNIA ELEGIRÁN A SU
CANDIDATO PARA PRESIDENTE EN LAS ELECCIONES PRIMARIAS
Si está inscrito (a) para votar, pero no eligió a un partido político (Sin Preferencia de Partido), entonces la boleta electoral que reciba
no incluirá la opción para elegir un candidato Presidencial, a menos que proporcione información adicional a la Oficina del Registro
Electoral.
Tres partidos decidieron permitir que las personas inscritos sin un partido participen en la selección de su candidato.

Demócrata
• Americano Independiente
• Libertario
Si usted es un elector Sin Preferencia de Partido y desea votar por alguno de los candidatos de cualquiera de los tres partidos, tiene
dos opciones:
 Si vota por correo, solicite una boleta electoral y devuelva la tarjeta postal de color rosa que se le envió por correo. Si no recibió
una tarjeta postal, o si no la encuentra, comuníquese a la Oficina del Registro Electoral al (209) 385-7541 o en
[email protected].
 Si desea votar en los centros de votación, puede solicitar la boleta electoral de ese partido cuando se registre en la lista de
electores.
Los otros partidos que elegirán a su candidato el 7 de junio son:
• Republicano
• Verde
• Paz y Libertad
Ellos decidieron que SOLAMENTE LOS MIEMBROS DEL PARTIDO pueden elegir a su candidato. Si desea participar en esa
selección, debe reinscribirse nuevamente para votar como miembro de ese partido.
