Importancia de la energía, su transformación e implicaciones de su uso.
La energía se utiliza para generar movimiento en algunos objetos, para convertirla en otra energía o para
transformar un objeto en otro.
La fuentes de energía son variadas, por ejemplo, el Sol proporciona energía calorífica, la pila energía química;
el carbón es la mayor fuente de energía eléctrica en nuestro país.
En la naturaleza, la energía no se crea ni se destruye, siempre está en continua transformación, esta es la ley de
la conservación de la energía. Cualquier tipo de energía se puede transformar; por ejemplo, los seres humanos
necesitamos energía química que nos proporcionan los alimentos y ésta se transforma en energía de
movimiento, también llamada energía mecánica.
Cuando se obtiene cierto tipo de energía se contamina el ambiente; por ejemplo, cuando se quema combustible
fósil para obtener energía eléctrica o de movimiento, este es el caso de las plantas eléctricas y los automóviles.
Ejercicio: escribe cuál es la energía original y en qué se transforma.

Padres de Familia:
Las palabras anteriores son las cuales, los alumnos deberán reconocer para el concurso de “Spelling Bee” del
2015.
El procedimiento del concurso se describe a continuación:
1) Habrá una selección de alumnos semifinalistas dentro del salón de clase.
2) El alumno deberá deletrear y decir el significado de 3 palabras elegidas al azar de la lista anterior. Cabe
mencionar que el significado es totalmente en inglés.
3) En la etapa final, el 1º, 2º y 3º lugar se asignará tomando en cuenta la rapidez, fluidez y
seguridad del alumno.
Nota: Posteriormente se comunicará la fecha o fechas asignadas para la selección de alumnos
semifinalistas y la fecha para alumnos finalistas.
