By Taking communion Meet Jesus
The bread of God is Jesus himself. By taking communion, we
receive His life and we become sons of the heavenly Father and brothers among us. By
taking Communion we meet
Jesus, really alive and risen.
By participating in the Eucharist means entering into
the logic of Jesus, the logic of gratuitousness...of
participation. We can all
give something. "Taking
Communion" also means
taking the grace of Christ
that makes us able to
share with others what we
are and what we have.
The gift that Jesus offers
is fullness of life for the
hungry man. Jesus not only satisfies the material
hunger, but the deeper,
hunger...the hunger for
God.
What can we do to face
suffering, loneliness; poverty and hardship of so
many people suffer...? Regrets not solve anything,
but we can offer what we
have. Certainly we have
some talent ... we all have
something to offer others.
If we are willing to put in
the hands of the Lord,
they will enough to produce peace, justice and
joy in the world. How

world! God is able to multiply
our small gestures. Gestures of
solidarity and make us share
his gift.

Tomando la Comunión con Él,
recibimos su vida en nosotros y
llegamos a ser hijos del Padre

nos encontramos con Jesús, realmente vivo y resucitado. Participar en la Eucaristía significa entrar en la lógica de Jesús,
la lógica de la gratuidad, de la
participación. Y por más
pobres que seamos, todos podemos dar algo. “Tomar la
Comunión” también significa

nos hace capaces de compartir
con los demás lo que somos y

dificultades de tanta gente,
¿qué podemos hacer nosotros?
Lamentarse no resuelve nada,
pero podemos ofrecer lo poco
que tenemos. Ciertamente
tenemos alguna hora de tiempo, algún talento, alguna competencia... Todos tenemos.
Si estamos dispuestos a
ponerlos en las manos del Señor, bastarán para que en el
mundo haya un poco más de
amor, de paz, de justicia y,
sobre todo, de alegría. ¡Cuán
necesaria es la alegría en el
mundo! Dios es capaz de multiplicar nuestros pequeños
