Notice: Pursuant to HB 2717, which was passed by the Texas
Legislature in the regular session and signed by the Governor on
6/17/2011: The age for the child exemption has been changed from
15 years old to under 12 years old.
I have legal Custody of a child under 12 years of age, and have the
care, custody and control of the child during the work day. If called to
jury service, the child would be left without adequate supervision.
(Legal custody means you are the parent of the child whose custody
rights have not been limited by court order, or a person who has legal
custody of the child pursuant to a court order).
Aviso: En conformidad con la ley HB 2717, La cual fue aprobada por la
legislatura de Texas en el periodo ordinario de sesiones y firmada por
el gobernador el 17 junio de 2011: Le edad para exencion de niño ha
sido cambiada, de niños menores de 15 años de edad para niños
menores de 12 años de edad.
Yo tengo la custodia legal de un niño menor de 12 años de edad y
estoy a su cuidado, custodia, y control de menor durante el dia de
trabajo. Si soy llamado al servicio de jurado, el menor se quedaria sin
la supervision adecuada. (Custodia legal significa que usted es el padre
del menor, cuyos derechos de custodia legal no han sido limitados por
una orden judicial o una persona que tenga la custodia legal del menor
con el arreglo de una orden judicial).
