Fabio Villegas Ramírez CEO - Chief Executive Officer Avianca Fabio Villegas Ramirez was born in Colombia. He is an economist from the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogotá, has a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics and a diploma in Development Planning from the University of London. Villegas Ramirez has held the positions of Secretary General to the President of Colombia, a government minister, Advisor to the Luis Carlos Sarmiento Angulo Enterprise Organization, Director General of Deutsche Bank and Rothschild Group in Bogota, as well as President of the Colombian National Association of Financial Institutions, ANIF. In 2005 he was appointed Executive President of Aerovias del Continente Americano, Avianca, and has been CEO of Avianca holdings since October 2009.
