This value represents a bilateral trade growth of 911% in the NAFTA era, which also translates as an average annual growth rate of 13% between 1993 and 2013, the highest within the region. In contrast, sales to Ontario, top provincial destination for Mexican products, dropped 3.7% in comparison to the same period in 2012. • On March 2013, Mexico continued to keep its position as the 3rd largest supplier for the Canadian market (5.5%), after purchases from Canada to United States and China.
