Universidad Politécnica Salesiana News Publication Date: 09/03/2016 19:38:00 The UPS-Quito Basketball Team won second place in the 2016 All Court Tournament The UPS-Quito basketball team The university's basketball team won second place in the 2016 All Court Tournament which was organized by the Wizzar team in Fernandez Madrid High School from January 19 to February 26. The members of the UPS basketball team are: Patricio Coello, Sebastián Cazar, Oscar Urquizo, Edison Gallegos, Edison Espinosa, Bryan Logacho, Frank Rodríguez, Julián Pimentel, Steven Enríquez, Andrés Díaz, Josué Moncayo, Jonathan Gálvez and Boris Tapia. Salesian groups constantly promote events for students to develop their salesian spirit and vocation. The university has sports, cultural, communication, academic, sociopolitical and pastoral groups. The men's and women's basketball team trains on Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 5pm in the Campus El Giron coliseum.
