2016 Eighth Grade Recognition
The Recognition Ceremony for qualifying RMS 8th graders will be held June 14th at
6:00pm in the Reynolds Middle School Main Gym. Students are to report to the North
Gym at 5:30pm. In order for 8th grade students to be invited to 8th Grade Recognition,
they will need to have maintained a 2.0 GPA (c average) for the year and have
attended school at least 90 percent of school days.
Family members will need to remember their tickets to gain entrance due to space
limitations. Qualifying students will receive three tickets on Friday, June 10th. Any
requests for additional Recognition tickets will be handled on a case-by-case basis by
Head Secretary Marti Magee.
The Ceremony will be followed by an 8th Grade Dance from 7:45 to 9:00pm. Only
students who attended the Recognition Ceremony may attend the dance. Families are
asked to pick up students in front of the building at 9:00pm promptly.
The 8th Grade Awards Ceremony will take place during the school day on June 15th and
will include all 8th graders.

Ceremonia de Reconocimiento 2016
La ceremonia de reconocimiento para los estudiantes de octavo año será el 14 de junio
a las 6 de la tarde en el gimnasio principal de Reynolds Middle School. Los estudiantes
deben reportarse al gimnasio norte a las 5:30 de la tarde. Para que los estudiantes
puedan ser invitados deben haber mantenido calificaciones promedio de 2.0 (C) y
asistido a clases por lo menos un 90% del año lectivo.
Los familiares deben recordar traer sus entradas para al evento, esto debido a la
limitación del espacio. Los estudiantes que califiquen recibirán 3 entradas el viernes 10
de junio. Las solicitudes para obtener entradas adicionales serán tratadas caso por
caso por la secretaria, la Sra. Marti Magee.
Inmediatamente después de la ceremonia habrá un baile solamente los estudiantes que
calificaron y participaron en la ceremonia de reconocimiento. El baile será de 7:45 a
9pm y se pide a las familias que recojan puntualmente a los estudiantes a las 9pm.
El 15 de junio, durante el día, será la ceremonia de premiación a la que podrán asistir
todos los estudiantes de 8vo año.
