 All students are expected to report to their assigned bus stop at least 15 minutes before their
specified pickup time.
 Each student must board and disembark the school bus at his/her assigned bus stop. For safety
and security purposes, students are prohibited from using alternate bus stops and riding on any
bus other than the one to which they have been assigned.
 For the return home, students will not be permitted to disembark the bus unless a parent/
guardian or authorized individual is at the bus stop to meet the student. Students who are not
met will be returned to their school. In cases where students are returned to school, the
Transportation Department will not transport students home, parents must make their own
arrangements to pick up their child.
 Students are expected to behave appropriately at all times. It is especially important that
students observe safety rules when riding the school bus.
 All District school buses are equipped with seatbelts which must be worn
by all students.









Behave in a safe and courteous manner while waiting.
Do not move toward the bus until it has come to a complete stop.
Be considerate of surrounding property while waiting for the bus.
Go to your seat and remain there until the bus reaches its destination.
Keep arms and other parts of the body inside the bus at all times.
In an emergency, remain seated until instructions are given by your driver.
When crossing a roadway at the discharge point, walk at least ten
feet in front of the bus and wait for a signal from the bus driver.
 Do not eat or drink on the bus.
 USE OF SEATBELTS IS MANDATORY!!

 Se espera que todos los estudiantes estén en su parada de autobús asignada por lo menos 15
minutos antes de la hora de recogida especificada.
 Todos los estudiantes deben abordar y desembarcar el autobús escolar en su parada asignada.
 Por razones de seguridad, los estudiantes tienen prohibido usar las paradas de autobuses
alternativas y montarse en cualquier autobús que no sea aquel que se les ha asignado.
 Para el regreso a casa, no se les permitirá a los estudiantes a desembarcar del autobús a
menos que un padre/tutor o persona autorizada esté en la parada de autobús para recoger al
estudiante. Los estudiantes que no los recojan serán devueltos a su escuela. En los casos en que
los estudiantes se devuelvan a la escuela, el Departamento de Transporte no transportará a los
estudiantes a su casa, los padres deben hacer sus propios arreglos para recoger a su hijo.
 Los estudiantes deben comportarse apropiadamente en todo momento. Es
especialmente importante que los estudiantes observen las reglas de seguridad cuando viajan en el autobús escolar.
 Todos los autobuses escolares del Distrito están equipados con cinturones
de seguridad que deben ser usados por todos los estudiantes.
 Nunca se pare en la calle mientras espera el autobús.
 Comportarse de una manera segura y cortés mientras espera.
 No se mueva hacia el autobús hasta que se haya llegado a
una parada completa.
 Sea considerado con la propiedad a su alrededor mientras espera al autobús.
 Vaya a su asiento y permanezca allí hasta que el autobús llegue a su destino.
 Mantenga los brazos y otras partes del cuerpo dentro del autobús en todo momento.
 En una emergencia, permanezcan sentados hasta que las instrucciones sean
dadas por el conductor.
 Al cruzar una carretera en el punto de descarga, camine por lo menos diez pies
delante del autobús y espere una señal del conductor del autobús.
 No se puede comer ni beber en el autobús.
