The Time management module is used to obtain regular reports on the work completed by the
cutter: cut management, maintenance management or listings of the errors encountered.
- The different data relative to the cutting work made on the machine, is automatically saved in
a "FXWPDQDJHPHQW" file at the end of each marker. The contents of this file can be printed
or used to JHQHUDWH D VSUHDGVKHHW ILOH (the spreadsheet file can also automatically be
generated/updated at the end of each marker).
- The number and access time to the maintenance mode of the microplotter are automatically
saved in a "PDLQWHQDQFHPDQDJHPHQW" file. The contents of this file can be printed.
- Errors encountered during the cutter’s work can be printed as they appear. They can also be
saved in an HUURUVILOH. The contents of this file can be printed by the user when needed.

Time Management – V5.x
6RIWZDUHFRQILJXUDWLRQ
Time Management can be installed on any Windows 2000 work station.
It is essential to consult the "getting started" documentation on the correct use of the Windows
environment:
- the document supplied with all new PCs: "Introducing Microsoft Windows for
distribution with a new PC only":
- which presents Windows
- which takes users through their first steps in the new environment
- which shows how to install programs
- which shows how to use the Windows interface to open and safe files
- the Windows Administrator Tool (code 521340), for the installation and configuration
of the Windows utilities developed by Lectra for its own applications.
- N-Manager: to manage workstations connected to the network
- E-Manager: to configure units and language preferences
- etc…
+DUGZDUHFRQILJXUDWLRQ
It is the same as the hardware configuration required to use GraphicPilot.
Configure at least one printer to printout a copy of the management states.
6RIWZDUHLQVWDOODWLRQ
When installing the software it is important to follow the procedure described in the document
Windows Administrator Tool (ref. code 521340).

Details of each area of the spreadsheet in Figure A.1
Name of file edited
Cutter type (indicated in the Serial Channel Configuration function)
Creation date of the file
Time the report was printed
Time the software was located for the first time after switching on the cutter
The >>>Start>>> line indicates the start of a new le session and the displayed date is the
date of the operating system when the session was started.
A VHVVLRQ corresponds to the time length between launching and quitting GraphicPilot
Connection name used by the operator when opening the Windows session.
Start time of the session.
The end of a session is marked by <<<End<<< at the beginning of the line, and this line
displays : the date, the operator’s connection name and the time.
Name of the marker concerned
Theoretical length given by the marker (mm or yard)
Width (mm or yard)
Theoretical cutting perimeter (mm or yard)
Theoretical perimeter given by the marker / Theoretical length given by the marker
Cutting speed requested by the software (m/min)
Cutting acceleration requested by the software (m/s²)
Time the marker process began: from the moment the "MATERIAL MARKING" window is
displayed
Time the marker process finished: including the time spent using the "RESTART" window
which is systematically displayed once the marker has been cut
Time it takes for a marker to be processed :
[Time the marker process finished] - [Time the marker process began] = <18> - <17>
Time spent preparing the marker :
[Time it takes for a marker to be processed] - [Time spent using the "RESTART" window] [Estimated effective working time of the cutter] = <19> - <22> - <24>
☞ Saving the material zero as well as the spreading control is part of the preparation

Time Management V5.x
Time spent using the "RESTART" window
Usage ratio of the "Restart" window in relation to the [Time spent processing the marker]
(<19>)
☞ If the CNUM parameter "Error on stop" is set at NO, an interruption by the control keyboard
arrows is counted as cutting time. Same for an interruption by theCODA switch (until the
"RESTART" window is displayed).
If this parameter is set at YES , any interruption causes an error and counts as stop/restart
time.
Estimated effective working time of the cutter : without the time spent preparing and using
the "RESTART" window [<19> - (<20> and <22>)]
Effective work ratio in relation to the [Time spent processing the marker] (<19>)
Average speed of the global processing time of the marker : "global" means that the time
spent using the "RESTART" window is taken into account
= [Theoretical cutting perimeter] / [Time spent processing the marker] = <13> / <19>
Average speed of the effective work of the cutter : "effective" means that the time spent using
the "RESTART" window is not taken into account
= [Theoretical cutting perimeter] / [Estimated time of the effective work of the cutter]
= <13> / <24>
Time the process of the previous marker finished
Time the process of the next marker will begin
Time between two markers where the cutter does not work, or the beginning of a session and
the first marker.
Summary total of each column
Average global speed (Total perimeter / Total duration of the session)
Average working speed (Total perimeter / Total duration of effective work)
Summary total of the OUT OF CYCLE times (<30>) :
display of the main screen or use of one of the functions of the main screen other than the
cut-out of markers (management of parameters, libraries, ...)
☞ During a marker processing, if an incident occurs in the software, and the Time
Management data could not be retrieved, the following message appears on the report :
