They provide a hard surface mounting option for surfaces such as concrete and brick. Models are available in wall and ceiling mounting formats, red and white color options and by device type see below for specific model numbers and descriptions. MODEL REFERENCE The L series surface mount back boxes include a grounding plate and grounding screw for electrical grounding and threaded knockout holes for ¾ inch conduit adapters. (See Figure 1.)
