Product Walkaround
The following images show the different views of the HP 245 G9 Notebook PC, which ships to LA, EMEA and APJ
regions. The notebook features a thin and lightweight plastic design with narrow bezels and is available in the
Asteroid Silver or Dark Ash Silver color.
The keyboard keycaps are made with post-consumer recycled plastic. The bezel, bottom cover and the speaker
resin feature ocean bound plastic (OBP) for environmental sustainability.

Key Features
The HP 245 G9 Notebook PC features a 35.56 cm (14-inch) non-touch panel with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The notebook
supports UMA graphics only.
Key features for the notebook include:
• AMD Ryzen 5000 series (Barcelo-U) CPUs: Octo-core, hexa-core and quad-core processors with a 7nm
architecture, integrated AMD Radeon Vega Graphics, eight cores, a maximum turbo speed of 4.5 GHz, a Thermal
Design Power (TDP) of 15W, and support for DDR4-3200 MHz high memory speeds.
• Camera with Temporal Noise Reduction (TNR): Technology that uses video noise reduction Image Signal
Processor (ISP) to reduce or filter extra background light and pixelated images to produce grain-free clear and
crips images when using the camera in low-light conditions.
• F licker-free panels: Technology that uses DC (Direct Current) modulation to regulate the brightness of a display,
which provides a constant stream of light at any brightness level to eliminate the flicker that would be otherwise
be caused by the alternative, pulse-width modulation (PWM).
• Windows 11 OS: The latest version of Windows with a redesigned user-interface, new Start menu, and new
OOBE. It provides a new taskbar format with new app icons, new gestures, and animated lock -screen.

The HP 245 G9 Notebook PC supports the following warranties:

N OTE: The notebook’s service tag forms part of the master label, which is laser-etched on the bottom of the unit. The internal
service label and the feature byte labels are stickers attached to the inside of the bottom cover.
Warranty extensions
In addition, the HP 245 G9 Notebook PC supports the Warranty Harmonization program which allows customers to
purchase warranty extensions at the time of purchase.
