COMMUNICATION SKILLS Expressions Listening Skills Articulation is the action of showing one's thoughts or feelings. is the ability to accurately receive and interpret information with attention Example: You got exactly all groceries that mom told you over phone is the way in which you express your feelings and ideas. Example: Expressing displeasure without offending anyone Visual Communication is the transmission of information through visual media. Example: Create a presentation. Example: Articulate your thoughts in the form of a drawing. Aesthetic Sense is to engage and critically reflect on a work of art or anything creative. Example: Which of the furniture will fit the aesthetics of the given bedroom? 4. CREATIVITY SKILLS Pattern Recognition Questioning is to gain more information by asking appropriate questions. Visualization Example: You can gain little understanding from pointed questions that have short answers like “Yes or No”. Example: Close your eyes and visualize images of how a flying car would look like. Entrepreneurial Literacy is the creative process of generating, developing, and communicating new ideas. Imaginative Thinking is to form/create images in the mind without direct input from your sense organs. Example: Create different ideas on a flying car through research or through visualisation. Example: Create a design of the flying car which goes beyond logic. Example: Discuss with your team about how a model of this flying car can be created. Composition Unstructured thinking is to look at a problem from a fresh perspective and brainstorm possible solutions. Example: Brainstorming as many ideas as possible on how to create a flying car. is to use multiple senses to recognise certain objects and situations. Example: We know that rectangular pieces of wood are doors. Even if we see a new one, we know it is a door. Ideation is to combine something together in a structured manner.
