Our First Vacation to Cancun My wife and I both wanted to visit Cancun. I felt it would be a great place to go with our daughter, who was only 2 years old. We heard that it was safe and clean and that people love children. So, last Sunday I said: Mariana, it's time to travel, let's go to the beach. I searched a lot, but in those days of parenthood, the thought of just walking along the seashore was too sad for me, so I bought All-inclusive resorts are the prevalent travel option in Cancun, and I wasn’t feeling adventurous or organized enough to find a home at airbnb.com – a private room in someone’s home. We booked through a travel agent and flew by Aeromexico. Our flight was on time, we checked without problem. The baby’s luggage would have been free, but at the gabbage place, the person at the desk said: 'stop, your baggage was overweight', so we had to pay a pretty big fee. We stayed from Monday to Saturday at Ocean Drive, a large resort about 20 minutes from Cancun, a peaceful paradise just across the Bahia de Mujeres, next to the Mujeres Resort, in front of the sea. On Wednesday we went to Playa Delfines, a long and wide stretch of beautiful white sand just south from the hotel zone. We just went to the Ferry entrance just walking two blocks straight and turning left at the museum. We need to travel 10 minutes on the ship from Isla to Cancún. You must pay 700 pesos for each person. On Friday I said to my wife: "We need to do some relaxing stuff. Which place do you prefer, the Maya museum or a relaxing restaurant at the beach? ". My wife said that there are many wonderful places to eat at the Hotel zone in Cancun. So we went to eat shrimps at the Bubba Gump Shrimp. That place is amazing. We felt too relaxed eating and enjoying the night and the sound of the sea. On Sunday, we went to Punta Sur at Isla Mujeres. A place where you can see the first rays of the sun in Mexico. In my opinion, that's one of the best places to visit in Mexico. If you go at 6am, you can see a wonderful view of the sea and the sun. If I could choose a place to travel next year, I would choose Cancun again, without hesitation.
