Tai chi is not only for old people. People of all ages can do it. In Asia, lots of people do it, and it has
many health benefits.
Yes. Because it’s very slow exercise, it’s very good for your joints and muscles. It’s also good for
developing flexibility and stamina. You’ll soon be able to touch your toes!

No, you need to do other kinds of exercise if you want to lose weight, such as Pilates or aerobics
(we also offer these classes too).
We are going to start another tai chi class at the gym on Wednesday nights from 19:00 to 20:00,
starting from the end of this month. Trainer Wang – the normal teacher for this class – is on
vacation, so his assistant Trainer Wu is going to teach the class. Mr Wu has lots of experience and
he is also a great teacher.

Tai chi is not muscle-building exercise. If you want to build muscle, you should do a weight-training
class.
