It was winter and it was very foggy. The names painted on the door of an old building were Scrooge and Marley. He is an old man. Scrooge had his hair, eyebrows, whiskers all white. His face and nose were thin and long. He never smile and he did not like people. He liked to be alone and writing down in his account books. The first visitor in the Scrooge´s Office was his nephew, named Fred. He shouted cheerfully “Merry Christmas uncle!” He has came because he wanted to invite his uncle to have Christmas dinner with his family, but Scrooge didn´t want to go. Scrooge wasn´t happy to see him because he didn´t like people. The second visitor in the Scrooge´s Office was a gentleman asking for money to charity in Christmas. Scrooge won´t help this visitor because he didn´t believe in Christmas so he will not giving money to anyone to had a merry Christmas. There is a lots of food in de shops because the people were buying good things to eat and drink in Christmas dinner. Boys and girls were singing Christmas carols in the streets and other people gave them money. CHAPTER 3 Scrooge look closely at the metal knocker on his big front door because that night the knocker was different. When he looked closely he saw Marley´s face. When scrooge sat by the fire in his room he saw Marley´s face again in the flame of the fire. When the bells stopped ringing Scrooge heard another noise. It was a clanking and banging noise and it was getting louder. The visitor of Scrooge was the ghost of his old business partner Jacob Marley. Marley had a white cloth tied round his face and chin. There were huge chains rounds Marley´s body, on the chains were money boxes, keys, locks and account books. IMAGE => Scrooge scared because he could see straight through Marley. Marley was a ghost. CHAPTER 4 The ghost replay that he made these chains for his self when he was alive, because he was cruel and unkind so the chains grew longer. He would not give people money. The ghost came to see Scrooge because he wanted to help him learning to be good and kind. This way he will not see terrible things. Jacob Marley said to Scrooge that 3 ghost will come to see him. CHAPTER 5 At one o´clock in the morning will comwe the first ghost. The first ghost come to see scrooge. It look very strange, and it looked like an old man. This visitor called the ghost of Christmas past. CHAPTER 6 The ghost of Christmas past take scrooge to the past when he a boy was and when he go to school. Scrooge can see some boys riding horses near of he school. Scrooge feel sad , happy and afraid. The small boy siting in the old school building was scrooge. The young boy and girl was scrooge and her sister France. When France grew up she has a child the nephew of scrooge. CHAPTER 7 The gentleman they saw was Fezziwig. They come scrooge and dick when the gentleman calls out. The gentleman said to the two men that they didn’t must work because it was Christmas eve. The ghost is talking about why people like so much the fezziwigs and scrooge reply that the happiness he gave was important , not the money he spent. CHAPTER 8 The beautiful girl whit the black dress was his wife, and she said that scrooge love more money than to her. The to people are talking about the money and the love that was between the 2. CHAPTER 9 Scrooge saw a strange light coming for under the door of the next room The ghost like a huge and smiling man, he had a kind face and a kind voice The ghost carried his torch on his hand and he make poor people happy. Scrooge had a life with very little love and with few important people. He devoted his life to becoming rich. In his adulthood he always lived alone, he did not like people. He had only a business partner called Jacob Marley but unfortunately did seven years ago. The story began one cold Christmas Eve, Scrooge is unkind to the people who work for him, then refuses to give to charity, and then is rude to his nephew when he invites him to spend Christmas with him. When Scrooge gets home, he is visited by the ghost of his old business partner Jacob Marley – and then by three ghosts! They are the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Future. The Ghost of Christmas Past takes Scrooge on a journey through Christmases from his past, taking Scrooge to see himself as an unhappy child and a young man more in love with money than his wiife. The Ghost of Christmas Present shows Scrooge his clerk, Bob Cratchit’s family. At Bob Cratchit’s house Scrooge sees Tiny Tim, who is very ill, but full of spirit. The ghost then takes him to see his nephew Fred’s Christmas celebrations which he had been invited to, but rebuffed. Finally, The Ghost of Christmas Future terrifies Scrooge by showing him visions of his own death… The ghosts’ journey through time teaches Scrooge the error of his ways. When he wakes up on Christmas Day he is full of excitement, and buys the biggest turkey in the shop for the Cratchit family before spending the day with his nephew, full of the joys of Christmas.
