causative use of have/get

CAUSATIVE USE OF HAVE/GET
o Usamos 'To have/get something done' cuando queremos significar que alguien
hace algo por alguien, alguien encarga hacer algo, o se le hace algo a alguien.
o La estructura se forma poniendo el verbo ‘to have/get’ en el mismo tiempo
verbal en el que está el verbo de la oración que reescribimos seguido del objeto
y del participio pasado del verbo. (Have/Get+Object+pp)

I am employing a man to tile my bathroom.
I am having

my bathroom
tiled.
The chef made a wedding cake for me.
I had a wedding cake
made by the chef.
o Se forma con have + noun + past participle




They repaired their car. (they did it themselves)
They had their car repaired. (they arranged for someone to repair it)
I cut my hair yesterday. (I cut it myself)
I had my hair cut yesterday. (I went to the hairdresser)
o EXAMPLES:

o También se puede usar el get en lugar del have en contextos más informales
