Tolerancia
To be tolerant is to
accept people and
circumstances as they are,
especially when they are
different from what we
want or expect. It also
means to be free of
prejudice. With tolerance
we know that all people
have feelings, needs, hopes
and dreams, which are
different than ours and that
they will act, look, think,
and speak differently than
us. We make an effort to
help everyone feel at home.
Tolerance
Ser tolerante es aceptar
las diferencias. No
esperamos que otras
personas piensen, hablen,
actúen y se vean como
nosotros. Ser tolerante es
estar libre de prejuicios, es
saber que cada persona
tiene sus propios
sentimientos, necesidades,
esperanzas y sueños. Ser
tolerante también significa
aceptar con flexibilidad y
paciencia las cosas que no
son de nuestro agrado.

Bienvenidos a todos!
Bienvenidos al año escolar 2015-2016. Estamos emocionados
al ver y al conocer a todos los estudiantes (y a sus familiares)!
Estamos seguros de que este año será un año lleno de
aprendizaje, de sobrepasar dificultades, será un año de éxito!
También queremos dar la bienvenida a todos los maestros
aquí por primera vez este año. De Kinder al 7mo grado hay
maestros de homeroom y asistentes de clases nuevos a
ACCLAIM.
Todavía hay falta dos maestras que no han llegado a la
escuela. La del cuarto grado, Mrs. Robinson, empieza este
miércoles. Sra. Perez y Mrs. Lindsey están ayudando a los
alumnos y al maestro sustituto a preparar bien para el año
escolar. La maestrs de quinto, Ms. Turvaville, vendrá al final del
mes, pero y la Directora Sra. Powers, está trabajando, por tres
semanas, en esa clase asegurando de que los estudiantes
aprendan y empiezan el año con un enfoque academic y
positive.
Welcome everyone!
Welcome to the 2015-2016 school year! All our school staff are
excited to see returning students and meet students new to the
school (and their families too)! We are sure it is going to be a year
full of learning, a year of overcoming challenges, a year of success!
We’d also like to welcome all of the wonderful new staff that
have joined us this year. From Kindergarten
to 7th grade we welcome homeroom
teachers new to ACCLAIM. We still
