AN ICC FAMILY HOLIDAY TRADITION
November, 2015
Dear Parents, Teachers, Students and Administrators of the ICC School Family,
It’s that time of year again and we are pleased to announce our fourth annual ICC Family Holiday
Tradition drive. As we did last year, we will be collecting gifts and necessary items for children and food
for some of our families in the ICC School District with children in Grades K-8. (The recipients will, of
course, remain totally confidential and will be indicated by Girl #1, Boy #1, etc. and Family #1, etc. for
the food boxes)
There will be two trees - The Giving Trees - set up at the Elementary and Middle School for the
gift items. One will be in the main lobby of the MS and the other in the back of the Elementary School
wing. The trees will be decorated with angels requesting a specific wanted or needed item for each
child. Should your child bring home an angel from the ES/MS tree for an item that is not within your
means, an exchange can easily be made. These items will be collected in the main office at the ES/MS.
Additionally, the Primary School will have a tree – The Generosity Tree - in their lobby decorated
with gingerbread boys and girls indicating a food item for the families to help make a festive holiday. A
food box will be given to each of the families along with the gifts. These items will be collected in Mrs.
Nichols’ office. If an item is perishable (such as the clementines and rolls), we ask that you not send
them in until Dec 16th so that they are fresh when the family receives them.
All gifts should be wrapped and returned to the Middle School with the angel
attached so we know who the recipient is. Food items should also be returned to the
Primary School with the gingerbread boy/girl attached so that we know what family is
to receive the item. We would appreciate that all items (gifts or food) be returned to
the respective school no later than December 16th so that distribution can be made prior
to the holiday break. The families will be picking up the items on December 18th.
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity in helping make this Christmas a little more
merry for some members of our own community.

UN DÍA DE FIESTA LA TRADICIÓN FAMILIAR ICC

Estimados padres de familia, maestros, estudiantes y administradores de la Familia de la Escuela de la
ICC,
Es esa época del año otra vez y estamos muy contentos de anunciar nuestra tercera campaña anual
Tradición ICC vacaciones en familia. Tal y como hicimos el año pasado, estaremos colectando regalos y
artículos necesarios para los niños y alimentos para algunas de nuestras familias en el Distrito Escolar
de la CPI con niños en los grados K-8. (Los destinatarios serán, por supuesto, siguen siendo totalmente
confidenciales y serán indicados por Girl # 1, Boy # 1, etc. y la Familia # 1, etc., para las cajas de
comida)
Habrá dos árboles - Los Árboles - Dar establecidos en la Escuela Elemental y Medio de los artículos de
regalo. Una de ellas será en el vestíbulo principal de la MS y la otra en la parte posterior del ala Escuela
Primaria. Los árboles serán decoradas con ángeles que soliciten una específica quería o necesitaba
artículo para cada niño. Si su hijo trae a casa un ángel del árbol ES / MS para un artículo que no está
dentro de sus posibilidades, el intercambio se puede hacer fácilmente. Estos elementos se recogen en
la oficina principal en el ES / MS.
Además, la Escuela Primaria tendrá un árbol - El árbol de la Generosidad - en su vestíbulo decorado
con pan de jengibre chicos y chicas que indican un alimento para las familias para ayudar a hacer un día
de fiesta festivo. Una caja de comida se le dará a cada una de las familias junto con los regalos. Estos
elementos se recogen en la oficina de la señora Nichols. Si un artículo es perecedero (como las
clementinas y rollos), le pedimos que no envíe en hasta 15 de diciembre para que estén frescos cuando
la familia los recibe.
Todos los regalos deben ser envueltos y regresaron a la escuela media con el
ángel apegados así que sabemos quién es el destinatario. Los alimentos también
deben ser devueltos a la escuela primaria con el pan de jengibre niño / niña
apegados así que sabemos lo que es la familia para recibir el artículo.
Agradeceríamos que todos los artículos (regalos o alimentos) serán devueltos a la
escuela respectiva antes del 15 de diciembre para que la distribución se puede
hacer antes de las vacaciones.
Muchas gracias por su amabilidad y generosidad en ayudar a hacer esta Navidad un poco más alegre
para algunos miembros de nuestra propia comunidad.
