Ntra. Sra. de Lourdes / Día Mundial del Enfermo
Recuerdo visitando a Lourdes con algunos amigos;
el primer reto fue leer el mapa al cruzar Los Pirineos
desde Pamplona a Francia y luego al esta hacia
Lourdes. Pasamos tres días en Lourdes, participando
en las Misas, procesiones y rosarios; tantos pidiendo
sanaciones, y los como nosotros rezando con y por los
enfermos.
Quiero tomar esta oportunidad a dar las gracias a los
voluntarios del ministerio de “Cuidado de los Enfermos.”
Agradezco a Marta Franco y Lupita quienes participaron en
el curso diocesano para el ministerio, y luego han entrenado
a otros. Comparto con ustedes, y les invito, con la oración
de la Misa por los Enfermos:
“Dios nuestro, que quisiste que tu Hijo unigénito
soportara nuestros sufrimientos, para enseñarnos el valor
de la enfermedad y la paciencia; escucha nuestras súplicas
por nuestros hermanos enfermos y concede a cuantos están
afligidos por el dolor, las penas y la enfermedad, la gracia de
sentirse elegidos entre aquellos que el Señor ha llamado
bienaventurados, y de saberse unidos para salvación del
mundo, a la pasión de Cristo, que vive y reina contigo en
la unidad del Espíritu Santo y es Dios por los siglos de los
siglos.”
Our Lady of Lourdes / World Day of the Sick
I remember visiting Lourdes with several friends;
the first challenge was reading the map as we crossed
the Pyrenees Mountains from Pamplona into France
and then East to Lourdes. We spent three days there,
sharing in the Masses, the processions and the prayers;
so many who were there praying for healing, and those
of us praying with and for the sick.
I want to take this occasion to thank our Care Ministry
volunteers for their service to those members of our parish
who are challenged with age and illness; I want to thank
Michelle Malinski and Sara Buscher who participated in the
diocesan training program for this ministry, and then passed
on the training to us. I share with you, and invite you to
pray, the Collect prayer for the Mass for the Sick:
“O God, who willed that our infirmities be borne by your
Only Begotten Son to show the value of human suffering,
listen in kindness to our prayers for our brothers and sisters who are sick; grant that all who are oppressed by pain,
distress or other afflictions may know that they are blessed
and are united to Christ in his suffering for the salvation of
the world. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who
lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one
God, for ever and ever.”

Actividades los Sábados: 1.-Rosario por la Paz
y Justicia a los inmigrantes a las 5 pm. 2.
Grupo de Oración a las 6:30 pm. Grupo de
la Divina Misericordia. Se reúne los
viernes a las 7 pm en el Salón de la familia.
Clases de Zumba. Viernes a las 12 pm. Hay
cuidado de niños. Y los Miércoles durante el
Catecismo a las 6:10 pm. Llame para

Fondo Regresando a Casa: Inscríbase en este programa que
funciona como una ayuda adicional para que si algún miembro
de su familia fallece. Cooperación inicial de $20 y llenar la
aplicación.
Fiesta Padre Nieves. Domingo 9 de Marzo. Necesitamos su
talento, su ayuda y su servicio. Ensayo de bailes los viernes a
las 5 pm y la obra del Padre Nieves los Sábados a las 6:30 pm.
