Dear Parents,
On Friday, 26th June, in the afternoon, you will access to your child´s report through the
School´s website, as detailed in the e-mail sent on Friday 12th, June. In the report, we share
information about the stage your child has reached in his/her learning process.
The first section contains a general comment; a holistic view of your child. The table attempts
to give meaning to the 10 attributes of the International Baccalaureate Learner Profile in terms
of how they relate to student learning at different age levels.
The following section illustrates your child’s attainment according to specific criteria in the
different subject areas.
The final part details the Units of Inquiry explored during the first term and describes how your
child responded to each of these. The Next Steps in Learning highlight the areas that your child
will be focusing on during the coming months. In some cases, Additional Areas for
Development are included.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very pleasant Winter holiday and
remind you that School recommences on Monday, 13th July 2015.

Estimados padres:
A partir del viernes 26 de junio, en la tarde, podrán acceder a los “reports” a través de la página
web del Colegio, de acuerdo a lo informado el viernes 12 de junio por email. En el “report”,
compartimos información acerca de la etapa alcanzada por su hijo/hija en el proceso de
aprendizaje.
La primera sección contiene un comentario general; una visión holística de su hijo/a. El cuadro
intenta brindar un significado a los diez atributos del Perfil del Aprendizaje del Bachillerato
Internacional en lo que se refiere a cómo se relacionan con el aprendizaje de los alumnos en
diferentes edades.
La siguiente sección ilustra los logros alcanzados de acuerdo a criterios específicos en las
distintas áreas.
La última parte detalla las Unidades de Investigación exploradas durante el primer semestre y
describe cómo su hijo/a ha respondido a cada una de ellas. La sección Próximos Pasos en el
Aprendizaje resalta las áreas en las que su hijo/a se enfocará en los próximos meses. En algunos
casos, se incluyen Áreas Adicionales a Desarrollar.
Aprovechamos esta oportunidad para desearles unas lindas vacaciones de invierno y recordarles
que el segundo semestre comienza el lunes 13 de julio de 2015.
