Dear S6 Student,
Events over the final few weeks for S6 students
To help close the year in an organised manner I would like to give you the following information:

The marks for the third trimester will close on Friday 31 October.

IB Exam leave is from Monday 4 November until Friday 21 November.

Classes for students who have failed the year will begin on Tuesday 25 November.

Students who have passed the year do not need to attend classes. They must return any books and
other items owed to the school before November 21.

Students absent from school after 4 November will not be marked as absent, unless they miss a class
they have failed or an IB exam.

Missing a revision class will seriously affect your revision for the December examinations.

After 21 November students in school must be in class. They can not be hanging around the school
unsupervised.

Students coming to school must be in the correct uniform at all times.

It will be assumed that all students will not be eating lunch at school during this time. Administration
must be informed before 10.30 if the student wishes to eat at school.

Remember to give your Old Georgian Club form to Mr Tate before 21 November in order to receive
information from the OG Club. Unless your parents have told the school otherwise, you will be given your
tie/scarf at the Graduation Ceremony. The form can be found on the school intranet under Former Students.

Please complete the 2014 S6 Student opinion forms and hand them to Mr Tate before Friday 31
October.

Make sure that you have completed and handed in the S6 Information form to Mr Roberts.

Before graduation we will publish the graduation points totals and whether you graduate with
Honours, Distinction, Merit or Pass. Please check carefully and if you have any questions please discuss
them with Mr Roberts.

Finish the year correctly. The College will not tolerate any misbehaviour or anything out of the
ordinary. The safety of the students is paramount and there is zero tolerance on this.
Events that the students are expected to attend:

Inter-house Football competition.

Inter-house Softball competition.

Tuesday 2 December at 16.30: S6/Heads of House Asado.

Thursday 4 December at 14.30: Inter-house Quiz

Friday 5 December at 10.30: Final Assembly and at 13.25: House Asados

Saturday 6 December at 10.30: Graduation Ceremony. Best Uniform with Blazer.

Thursday 11 December at 11.00 Secondary Speech Day. Check to see if you have won prizes for
Speech Day. See Mr Tate to receive a letter if you have.

Friday 12 December to Friday 19 December: December exams.

Estimado Alumno de ES6:
Acontecimientos de las semanas finales para ES6
A fin de que los últimos días del año transcurran de manera organizada, les envío la siguiente información:

Las calificaciones del tercer trimestre cerrarán el viernes 31 de octubre.

El permiso de ausencia por los exámenes de IB se extenderá desde el viernes 4 hasta el viernes 21 de
noviembre.

Las clases para los alumnos que no hayan aprobado materias comenzarán el martes 25 de
noviembre.

Quienes tengan todas las materias aprobadas no tendrán que venir a clase. Deberán entregar los
libros y otros elementos que tengan que devolver al colegio antes del 21 de noviembre.

Quienes no asistan al colegio después del 4 de noviembre no serán considerados ausentes, a menos
que falten a alguna materia que no hayan aprobado o a un examen de IB.

La ausencia a una clase de revisión afectará seriamente la preparación para los exámenes de
diciembre.

Después del 21 de noviembre los alumnos presentes en el colegio deben estar en clase. No podrán
deambular sin supervisión.

Los alumnos que concurran al colegio deben hacerlo siempre vistiendo el uniforme.

Se asumirá que ninguno de los alumnos almorzará en el comedor durante este período. Si alguno
desea hacerlo, deberá informarlo a la administración antes de las 10.30.

Recuerden entregar el formulario del Old Georgian Club a Mr. Tate antes del 21 de noviembre para
poder así recibir información del club. A menos que sus padres hayan informado al colegio de lo contrario,
ustedes recibirán la corbata o el pañuelo distintivo durante la ceremonia de graduación. El formulario
puede encontrarse en la intranet en la sección Former Students.

Por favor, completen los formularios de opinión de S6 2014 y entréguenselos a Mr. Tate antes del
31de octubre.

Asegúrense de haber completado la información de S6 y habérsela entregado a Mr. Roberts.

Antes de la graduación publicaremos el puntaje de cada uno y les informaremos si se gradúan con
Honores, Distinción, Mérito o Aprobación. Por favor, analicen la información y, si tienen alguna inquietud,
conversen con Mr. Roberts.

Terminen el año correctamente. El colegio no tolerará ningún tipo de mal comportamiento o
conducta fuera de lo esperado. La seguridad de los alumnos es primordial y, en este sentido, tendremos
tolerancia cero.

Martes 2 de diciembre 16.30: S6/Heads of House Asado.

Jueves 4 de diciembre 14.30: Inter-house Quiz

Viernes 5 de diciembre 10.30: Assembly Final y House Asados a las 13.25

Sábado 6 de diciembre 10.30: Ceremonia de Graduación. Uniforme impecable con blazer.

Jueves 11 de diciembre 11.00 Speech Day de Secundaria. Verifiquen si han ganado premios que se
entregarán durante Speech Day. Si tienen alguno vean a Mr. Tate, quien les dará una carta.

Viernes 12 a viernes 19 de diciembre: exámenes.

antes de su graduación.
