Requirements for a quality management
system:
Document control
Documents must been protected and controlled. A documented procedure has to be established
to define management actions needs to approve documents before its issue and review and
update as necessary and revalidation. The system must ensure that changes and revision status
of documents are identified, that current versions of documents are available, that documents
are transmitted, stored and destroyed in accordance with the procedures, that documents are
identified y that the distribution is controlled.
Registration control
Registration must be created and maintained to provide evidence of conformity to
requirements and of the effective operation of the management system. Records shall remain
legible, readily identifiable and retrievable and the controls needed for the identification,
storage, protection, retrieval, retention and disposal of records must be documented and
implemented. You should keep records of the development of each process and all the events
that demonstrate the fulfillment of the tasks associated with the management system.
Nonconformities
The organization has to take action to eliminate the cause of nonconformities with respect to
the requirements of the ISMS in order to avoid these recurrence. The procedure has to define
requirements for: identifying nonconformities, determine its cause, evaluate the need for action
to ensure they do not reoccur, implement corrective actions, record the results and review.
Each corrective action must be documented.
