To confirm a regular booking, having completed a venue booking form; the organiser must pay a
deposit of £50. This ‘ongoing deposit’ is carried forward until the regular booking ceases; when it will
be refunded. The deposit will be used for cancellations, overrunning of bookings, damage to property
and any other costs incurred through the negligence of the TOCA (contract signed by event
organisers).
The ongoing deposit will need to be topped-up if used for any of the reasons stated above.
If event organisers choose to end a session partway through arranged Period of Control (See TOCA)
there will be no refund.

Payment will be invoiced on the 1​
of the month for the coming month.
If the booking coincides with a UK Bank holiday the price per hour for that session will be doubled. If
the booking falls on Easter Sunday or Christmas day, other arrangements can be made by contacting
2JEvents.
Administration Fee
If changes are made to a booking or a session is cancelled after the 25th of the previous month a £30
administration fee will be charged.
Cancelled bookings
In the event of the organiser having to cancel their events, the organiser must contact 2JEvents in writing, via
email prior to the event. All contact details can be found at www.2jevents.com.
In situations where the event organisers cancel their booking, the following policy applies:
Less than 7 working days in advance of an event
= Half of event costs charged.
Less than 48 hours before an event
= Full event costs charged.
If all of the events are cancelled before the booking has started, the rolling deposit will not be refunded.
All deposits kept reflects the costs incurred by 2JEvents in booking, organising and preparing venues.
Rearranged booking
At the sole discretion of 2JEvents; when an individual event is cancelled and future bookings still remain,
payments can be carried over to these future bookings.
Overrunning of booking
If the Period of Control passes the scheduled finish time, the organiser will be charged 50p per minute for the
extended period. This price increases to £1 per minute after midnight. This will be taken out of the ongoing
deposit.
NB: This cancellation policy is for ‘regular’ bookings only. Other policies apply to ‘one-off’ bookings.
