I realize that I am bidding on vehicles abandoned by the registered and/or legal
owner. I hold harmless Rancho Del Oro Towing/Contract Services any liability on
the vehicle I purchase. I further realize that the vehicles are “SOLD AS IS”, where
is and no guarantees are implied or given. I understand that my purchase is
voluntary and that all vehicles may not meet California smog and/or safety
requirements. It is not Rancho Del Oro Towing, responsibility to smog vehicles.
ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE PAID IN CASH ONLY
Please be advised that you have until 4:00 p.m. the following day (Monday) to pick up your
vehicle.
If not picked up by then, you will forfeit your deposit. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!
The Lien Sale of this vehicle has been processed in accordance with the laws of the State
of California including sections 3071 or 3072 of the California Civil Code.
This vehicle may have been registered in Mexico and /or may have been manufactured in
Mexico for use in Mexico only.
Mexico and the USA currently do not exchange any vehicle registration information. If you
take this vehicle to Mexico, RDO/Contract Services selling this vehicle cannot guarantee
that the Mexico authorities will honor California’s Lien sale process. This vehicle may be
taken away from you.
I understand that I am purchasing this vehicle as is, where is, and I take full responsibility
of any actions that may occur if I take this vehicle to Mexico.
Minimum of $200 non-refundable deposit is required on vehicles sold under $2000 and a
$500 non-refundable deposit is required on all vehicles sold over $2000. I understand by
signing this form that i have read and agree to all the terms and conditions listed on the
back of this form.

ALL VEHICLES SOLD REQUIRE A $200 MINIMUM DEPOSIT (ON THE AWARD OF THE
BID) IF VEHICLE IS SOLD FOR UNDER $2,000. A $500 DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED IF OVER
$2000. THE DEPOSITS ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE.
YOU MUST PAY ALL VEHICLES IN FULL BY 4:00 PM ON THE FOLLOWING BUSSINESS
DAY OF THE AUCTION (MONDAY). IF YOU DO NOT PAY FOR YOUR VEHICLE (S) BY THE

1. All vehicles and their contents will be sold “AS IS, WHERE IS,” with no warranties,
either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to the warranty of merchantability.
Buyer agrees that vehicles are purchased “With All Faults.” The bidder is responsible for
inspecting vehicles prior to bidding. The auctioneer makes the final decision regarding
the winning bidder on each
2. Contract Services/RDO is not responsible for printed errors or omissions in regards to
year, make, model, or mileage of vehicle or any other defect in the title or registration
paperwork, including the license plate expiration.
3. The buyer must register the vehicle with the state Motor Vehicle Department after
purchasing it. Buyer assumes full responsibility for transfer and ownership.
4. A $200.00 or $500.00 (depending on sale price of vehicle) non-refundable and nontransferrable deposit must be paid upon each successful winning bid. Vehicles MUST be
paid for by the end of business Monday or buyer will lose/forfeit their depost(s). Cash and
credit cards (Visa, Mastercards, and Discover) accepted. No checks accepted unless
approved prior to the sale.
5. Buyer is responsible for all DMV and emission fees. All emission related repairs are the
responsibility of the buyer.
6. Contract Services/RDO reserves the right to accept bid increments that they feel is in the
best interest of the sale.
7. Contract Services/RDO and its representatives do not in any way guarantee the odometer
to be actual, true or correct. All vehicles sold through the sale are sold “TRUE
MILEAGE UNKNOWN” unless explained otherwise.
8. Contract Services/RDO reserves the right to bid on any vehicle.
9. Each vehicle has a sale number that corresponds to the number on the sale list. Before the
auctioneer sells off the vehicle, he will call out the vehicle number and the description of
that vehicle. Please make sure you bid on the correct vehicle. If you do not, and you are
the highest bidder you must still purchase that vehicle. If you fail to purchase that
vehicle, you will be asked to leave. Your future bidding privileges will also be forfeited.
10. Absolutely no working on vehicles in the yard. No exceptions!
11. Any person who removes parts of property from any vehicle prior to or during the sale
will be charged with vandalism. Any theft including the removal of keys or tampering
with the vehicle will also result in prosecution. Penal Code Section: “594.(a) Every
person who maliciously commits any of the following acts with respect to any real or
personal property not his own or her own, (1) Defaces (2) Damages, (3) Destroys, in
cases other than those specified by state law, is guilty of vandalism”
12. The bidder is responsible for vehicle transportation/removal of the vehicle from the
auction site. RDO Towing will offer local towing. ask office for details.
13. You must be at least 18 years old in order to enter the facility or bid on any vehicle.
14. Do not bid on any vehicle unless you understand all the rules of this auction. Bidding
implies complete knowledge.
15. Any person entering our premises for what-ever reason, agrees to indemnify, defend, and
hold Contract Services harmless from any and all damages, losses, liability, cost or
expense, arising from claims made by any person for bodily injury, property damage, or
any type of loss that occurred on Contract Service’s/RDO's premises.
