APRIL: CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH
DID YOU KNOW? The Reno Diocese mandates that all people who work with children and youth
in our parishes and schools must undergo child abuse preven on training through the VIRTUS
program. The training details 5 steps to prevent child sexual abuse:
1) Know the warning signs!
2) Control access to children by carefully selec ng the adults who work with children and youth
3) Monitor all programs for the safety of children and youth
4) Be aware of and sensi ve to what is going on in the lives of children
5) Communicate concerns to the appropriate person in authority.
Know the warning signs of an inappropriate rela onship with a child.

closes, we’ll have Adora on of the Blessed Sacrament a er the 12:10 PM Mass un l 11:30 PM. For

and willing to adore Our Lord into the night and early morning hours of the following day, then I am
