FUNERAL RITES & CEMETERY SERVICES
The Community Outreach Staff from Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery, a Ministry of
the Diocese of Reno, will be here on May 21 & 22 a er all the weekend Masses to discuss spiritual
and prac cal reasons for learning about Catholic Funeral Rites and Cemetery Services. A er each
Mass, there will be a short presenta on along with a Q&A session.
Our Catholic Funeral tradi on affirms our belief in the communion of saints and our trust in
Jesus’ promise of everlas ng life. Burying the dead is one of the Corporal Works of Mercy, incumbent upon every Chris an. The Church’s rituals enable us to honor our dearly departed with solemn
and tender devo on. I take this opportunity to recommend that all Catholics explore the services
offered by Our Mother of Sorrows to be er understand the spiritual and financial benefits of planning ahead for their funeral and cemetery needs.
The burial plans they offer are flexible, affordable, & designed to meet your cemetery needs.
Their facility, close parish rela onships and compassionate counselors ensure that your funeral
Mass & burial commi al are well planned. Their onsite Most Holy Redeemer Chapel has capacity for
80, is picturesque with its hand laid mosaic works of art, stained glass & tradi onal Catholic altar.
By taking advantage of this opportunity, to understand the importance of a Catholic funeral
and burial, you will walk away with a be er understanding of the importance and ease of planning
ahead to ensure peace of mind for you and your family.

ENTRADA
Cuando recuerdo a que amor divino, que siendo Dios al suelo descendió;
*mi alma canta, mi alma goza, porque la vida me dio el Señor.* (2)
*por las estrellas y por el cielo, por la alegría de renacer.* (2)
Por los caminos áridos del mundo, busco la huella de un amor feliz;
*soy peregrino, soy vagabundo, un cielo eterno brilla hoy en mi.* (2)
SALMO
