Tsion Tucho Nov/9/2014 Stream: Spring Reflection The person that had passed away was my godfather. His name was Tateick , but we called him by his nickname, which was Yayaie. I decide to create a skullcandy in remembrance of my godfather because I wanted to remember all the things he enjoyed doing, and also what type of person he was. My godfather meant a lot to me mostly because with his passing my family and I lost someone that was an inspiration to our lives and influenced us to do great things. “Día de los Muertos” opened my mind to celebrating the passing of my loved ones because in my culture you mourn and feel saddened of the death, but now I think that people should try celebrating the memory that their loved one lead on to them and sing and dance and celebrate it. It also helps the family move on with their lives because when remembering the person that had passed away, you can feel saddened sometimes and that can bring people much pain to their family or their self. But when celebrating the person that passed away, it can bring happiness inside. On the skullcandy I have created images that represents my godfather personality and also memory. I drew flowers around his eyes because I knew how much he loved taking care of his flowers and he had a lot of them in his backyard. I drew an Ice cream because he loved desserts and also that was one of the many things he loved doing with his three daughters. I drew a soccer on the right hand of the skull head because I remember him always watching soccer with my dad and always rooting for his favorite team the Manchester. I drew a sun on top of the skull head because he always made sure to make everyone around him have fun even through rough times. I drew a cigar on his mouth because he loved smoking and that was the cause of him having a bad teeth. I made a silly hat because he was the goofy and silly one in the family. I drew an ocean on the back of the skull head because he was a peaceful guys, he was the one that broke off any fight. I drew a frown on the skull face because he looks very threatening but the people that knew him knew that he was a sweet and kind guy. Last but not least I also drew dots because he loved partying and having fun with his family. Panegírico
